Kid played the Run DMC version of Walk This Way this weekend. Has he ever done that? There was also another “lost” hit or two in there I swear I have never heard on Backtrax in the last 20 years...

I can't remember now on last week, but this weekend I heard Lonely Ol' Night by John Mellencamp, which I never remember hearing on Backtrax USA.

This weekend “Workin’ in a Coal Mine” by Devo was on the show. I can’t say I have ever heard that on any 80s show. Kid sounds great these days, all we need is updated imaging for the first time in 20 years.

I don't actually have the time since I been busy. I tried to get jayman in pulsemusic proboards (he used to post the backtrax 80s and 90s until early 2013, then stopped) to post but he has not been responding |

I noticed last weekend (May 2, 2020 weekend), Backtrax 80s played Daryl Hall and John Oates songs for one show: 1st hour song was Say It Isn't So, and 2nd hour was Out of Touch. Is this the first time that artist is playing two different songs in same show? Is that a new record, or has it been done before?
Normally they would play one song per artist for one show only.

This weekend has a sub host, also 80s songs notably having more variety instead of same useless repeat songs, just like past few weeks

Last weekend backtrax 80s played The Outfield - Your Love, not sure if that was coincidence they played, Tony Lewis passed away just last month, and AT40 80s this weekend will also play that song as optional extra 4 changing from Janet Jackson - Control

Although there have been a few mentions of COVID and cancelled concert tours on Backtrax USA, those shows are produced weeks enough in advance and that song is such a staple that it was just coincidence.
