Moving on to 7/21/73, and starting off with the Donna Fargo song "You Were Always There, which fell from #96 to #100. That record was previously mentioned on page 31, so we move on to #99. Moving down two spots, and peaking at #88, is a trumpeter from Detroit named Donald Byrd with a track called "Black Byrd." The band The Blackbyrds would take their name from this song, and Byrd would later produce their hits like "Walking In Rhythm."

7/27/74 starts with Dick Feller debuting at the bottom with "Makin' The Best Of A Bad Situation." Since that song has been mentioned on page 11, we move on to the group Esctasy, Passion & Pain and "Good Things Don't Last Forever", which fell from #97 to #99 after peaking at #93.
