The Hillside Singers' 1 week on the Hot 100 wonder "We're Together" was sung to the tune of the famous McDonald's 1971-1975 and 1981-1982 jingle of "You Deserve a Break Today" (Much like the Hillside Singers covered the Coca-Cola jingle of "I Like to Teach the World to Sing" with different lyrics and turned it into a top 40 hit along with the New Seekers version of the same song). Barry Manilow would later cover the real "You Deserve a Break Today" McDonald's jingle for his V.S.M. (Very Strange Medley) of commercial jingles in concerts and on his 1977 "Barry Manilow Live" album.

It may be April Fools Day, but here's a SPECIAL BOTTOM OF THE CHARTS from 60 years ago on the Billboard Hot 100 when the Beatles occupied the top 5 spots - April 4, 1964!: At #100 is Barbra Striesand's top 10 song "People", and on to #99 and debuting at that position is sax player Boots Randolph with "Hey Mr. Sax Man". This would peak at #77: www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZnkyhdI29E
