Unless they already did so before this marathon started, I wonder if they'll go back to their regular list once it's over.

It seems that the list has been rotated because I didn't find the current AT40 being played (11/21/1987) on the list a few posts above. Does anyone know if there is a list of shows they are using?

List of shows currently being played on this channel. Unlike the previous lists, there hasn't been any predictable order for the shows so far. They do usually alternate between 70's & 80's but occasionally they will play back to back 70's or 80's show. They are being played with no commercials or promos. They are also playing the full four hour shows where available for the late 1978 and 1979 shows.

Looks like the station has finally gotten the overhaul it has needed for years. Some of the shows on this list have been on this station for years so for those who are wondering which ones are new, I have put them in bold: 70's (17) Shows 12/14/74 07/26/75 12/20/7507/10/76 11/20/7612/18/76 04/16/77 07/09/77 12/10/77 12/17/77 03/11/7806/17/78 12/02/78 02/10/79 06/30/79 07/28/79 10/06/7980's (34) Shows 09/13/80 11/15/80 11/29/80 03/14/81 05/30/8108/01/81 12/05/81 04/17/8207/03/82 10/16/82 05/07/83 07/16/83 07/23/8310/22/83 02/18/8408/18/84 11/24/84 02/09/85 06/08/8508/31/85 - This show was on last night (6/6); it was the Larry Morgan version. 11/09/85 04/26/8605/17/86 06/28/8607/12/86 09/20/86 09/27/86 12/06/86 02/21/8708/22/87 09/19/87 11/21/87 01/30/88 04/30/88The most important thing to point out is that none of the 1970 - 1973 shows have been added yet. I can see why they haven't since those songs are over 50 years old now and they're probably trying to attract younger listeners, but the first AT40 show ever should at least be included.

A little goof-up, the last extra from the 12/10/1977 show was an extra from the 12/14/1974 show (Freebird).

I think that was the stretch of Premiere shows in late 2021 when 'Freebird" was used as on extra for a few weeks in a row. My recording of it from December 2021 has "Freebird" as the last extra.

And it was to have been on 12/10/1977 the original AT40 extra of Billy Swan's "I Can Help".

>10/06/79 80's (35) Shows 09/13/80< Wow no love for Rupert. Weren't his three Top 40 hits all in the gap between these two dates? I guess this is what you get for trying to turn helpless little teenagers into hopeless alcoholics.

Thanks for screwing up the 70s. This is slightly reminiscent of the Jack FM disaster at CBS FM about a decade ago when the station was only rating about 3rd in the entire market for listeners. Jack FM took is straight to the bottom and the classic CBS FM was restored... and more popular than ever.
It's hard to find any plays of those years prior to 1976 now, even if a few show up in the current playlist.
It appears like this "station" is programming out the early 70s, the main reason I tune it in. In this case, why not split out the station into an 80s and a 70s if you're going to act like you're programming a radio station and give them both full years play?
It costs nothing to play anything and the number of listeners isn't very important like it would be with an airwaves AM/FM radio station.
