"Sandstorm" peaked at #33, which kept me from wanting to post it myself, but I'm glad Pete managed to include it here. For my Lost Classic this week, Three 6 Mafia's "It's Hard out Here for a Pimp" became the second hip-hop song (after "Lose Yourself") to win Best Original Song at the Oscars. It was from the film Hustle and Flow, which was released in July 2005 (BTW, before today, 2005 was the year with the current longest streak for the amount of time since its last inclusion in this thread; Tiësto's "Adagio for Strings" was the last song chosen from 2005 almost a year and a half ago in early February 2023). Here's a song by jazz musician Gregory Porter - the title track from his album Liquid Spirit, released in September 2013.
I'm probably more familiar with the song through the Claptone Remix, which got played on one of SiriusXM's dance channels.

Here's a single of hers that was released this week in 2002 but did not chart there or in Billboard - "Why'd You Lie to Me".
