32: SATIN SOUL - LOVE UNLIMITED ORCHESTRA - I loved how Barry White was played right before this song 22: EMOTION - HELEN REDDY - I love all of her songs now for some reason 18: CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD- ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA - Only song of these five that would have been on my list of five 40 years ago 14: SAD SWEET DREAMER - SWEET SENSATION - Has really grown on me - reminds me of some AC hits from 1970/71 - 1900 Yesterday for example 8: POETRY MAN - PHOEBE SNOW - God what a great recording - the long version is incredible 34: SEPTEMBER MORN – NEIL DIAMOND - Neil has become my new Manilow-type guilty pleasure 28: AN AMERICAN DREAM – THE DIRT BAND - Should've been bigger 19: FIRE LAKE – BOB SEGER - I cannot stand a few of his hits - but several of them really get to me - such a classic sound 18: GIVE IT ALL YOU GOT – CHUCK MANGIONE - For some reason this reminds me of the score/soundtrack from the Stallone movie Nighthawks - and of course Lake Placid 8: THE SECOND TIME AROUND - SHALAMAR - Should've made #1 - backlash, I guess

Early 1983 is when I discovered KHTR (Hit Radio 103) in St. Louis. St. Louis had been without a true Top 40 station for a little bit so my love for Top 40 music was re-ignited thanks to this station. And what a wonderful time for music! I will be experiencing multiple eargasms while listening to this show this weekend!
