Great top 5 for this week. In order for me to arrive in CT I have to tackle the GS pkwy tolls every 15 to 20 minutes and there is a person standing in the roadway collecting tolls at the Dingmans Choice Bridge at the NJ - Penn line, yes in the middle of the roadway. Don't they take EZ Pass? I got that to help with toll roads that I might drive, which include many in MD and northern VA in addition to I-95 and those in the NJ/NY area.

Next week's survey will be from 1964-We were smack dab in the middle of The British Invasion-Expect to hear a lot of certifiable classics from that time period.

Next week's survey will be from 1964-We were smack dab in the middle of The British Invasion-Expect to hear a lot of certifiable classics from that time period. Likely to be 10-3-64. Another fast countdown, and if the trend continues, Dave plays 47 songs to include staff picks, highest debut on the Hot 100, #1 from Canada (if not in countdown), #1 country song. I have noticed the earlier the year, the shorter show.

In a surprise move, Dave went with 10-10-64, even though 10-3-64 was closer, but hey, it's his show, right? Short show that was over at 4:12 pm EST. Next week he is featuring 1967, and likely (was wrong on 1964's episode) to be 10-14-67.

Any idea if songs by The Turtles are recieving airplay on the "60's On 6" channel?-Recently,Sirius/XM learned they weren't liable to pay royalties on songs that were popular before 1972.

If Dave was featuring 1967 one week earlier, we would have found out since You Know What I Mean was in the Top 40 for the week ending 10-7-67. YKWIM dropped out the week Dave is likely to feature--10-14-67.

This is great news. If Sirius/XM doesn't have to worry about any songs before 1972, the "60s on 6" channel is home free. I've suspected that there were some other artists blacklisted except the Turtles and previously the Shirelles.
