Wow! Amazed they could play a 1967 chart since the Turtles had 4 Top 40 hits during the year.

Thank you Doofus67. Summer of 1967, my favorite period. Many new entries in that chart, incredible.
I have compared that show with the one from Jeff Michaels ( MERC ) and i have noticed that Jeff played more extras. That leads me to this question : Why 60s sat survey is so short, SiriusXm is not obliged to respect a special time schedule , no ?

THE 60s SATELLITE SURVEY SPECIAL: Top 40 Songs of the 60s with One-Word Titles
Compiled using the book Ranking the '60s: A Comprehensive Listing of the Top Songs and Acts from Pop's Golden Decade, by Dann Isbell Rankings are based on the Billboard Hot 100; I've added overall decade rankings, peak dates, and peak positions
No extras this week.
This list is very reminiscent of a chart trivia question that was posed to me the last time I called in to Lou Simon on The Diner. His in-studio guests were the aforementioned Dann Isbell and his colleague, Bill Carroll. It was Bill who played "Stump the Chart Hound" with me. He asked, "Mike, can you name the 17 charted records in the 60s that had both a one-word title and a one-word artist's name?"
Apparently I hadn't studied RT60s enough, because I had to admit on national radio that this question was way over my head, and even played the age card! By the way, only one of the 17 songs made this countdown. Keep those eyes peeled...

Thank you, doofus67, for always submitting each week's 60's Satellite Survey countdown.
I really enjoyed the one-word title countdown from yesterday (except for that evil, frightful abomination at #27; thank goodness I knew it was coming beforehand), but I do have an issue with one of their selections. As much as I like "Fingertips", do you think it really counts as a one-word title, since the actual title is "Fingertips, Pt 2"? Also, I was hoping to hear "Mother-In-Law", but I suppose Dave, Lou, and the others decided that hyphenated words shouldn't count. It's a judgment call, but I'd personally rule in favor of including it.

Good points you're making, slf. Mother-in-law is one word in the dictionary. I would have chosen "96 Tears" as well -- one number, one word. But Lou's argument would be, no, ninety-six is a word.
