It's a great idea, but seriously the 1982 episode they are running is terrible.
There are some really bad edits in it, Toto's Rosanna appears twice...the first time it cuts off to replay the intro & halfway thru the second time it cuts straight into the middle of Dan Fogelberg.
I didn't get to the end as it as pointless, but other posters say #2 & #1 are from 1988.

Give it a week or two. There's no excuse for what you are describing but as a veteran of AT40's IHR station, holiday weeks aren't always the best.

Oops, just went from "It's Too Late" and "I Don't Know How to Love Him" in 1971, station ID and right into the middle of the 5/22/1982 countdown with "Rosanna," which was played twice.
How difficult is this? I mean that sincerely, not in a smart*** way since I have never programmed an Iheartradio station. What are the challenges in getting this correct?

The one I don't get is the individual song screw ups. Like jumping mid segment to something else. Why don't they just load in the show with the segments in tact?

WOW...iheartradio...it's ONLY the 2nd week with this channel & We're JUMPING from #3 in 1982 to #2 #1 on the June 1988 countdown!!! Then it's off to 1971...WHAT A TRIP in 15 mins..Fix It

WOW...iheartradio...it's ONLY the 2nd week with this channel & We're JUMPING from #3 in 1982 to #2 #1 on the June 1988 countdown!!! Then it's off to 1971...WHAT A TRIP in 15 mins..Fix It That's what happened when I listened to the 1982 show. It kept jumping songs. |

Does iHeart have any type of feedback mechanism to send this information along to them, so that they might either remedy (unlikely at this late date) the situation or know what to look at when programming the station in future weeks?

Well, these are now updated Saturdays, not Mondays, even though Larry Morgan still says so, talk about inconsistent, because their last hour of June 6th, 1979 is on right now, hopefully it's the original 4-hour edition!

This is basically what I was trying to say before. If they play the first hour we might as well stop doing the vs. thread for twofers aside from the special shows. It will be KOKZ, WODC and Classic AT40 that play 1979. WODC, a few other stations and Classic AT40 will play those occasionally difficult "B" shows. I know there's plenty of other stuff to discuss around here. I think that maybe Premiere became feed up with the uneven show distribution.

I even heard 3 of the 4 Optional Extras in their last hour from 1979, Bad Girls by Donna Summer, I Was Made For Loving You by Kiss and One Way or Another by Blondie.
