I dont understand why... His wife is apparently neglecting and abusing him and will not allow him medical care. Kerri and the kids are trying to get him safe and allow doctors to assess him. Please give me your side to this and why this upsets you It's a shame that his wife is abusing and neglecting him. It makes me very sad.  |

No one would be in court over conservatorship had you just allowed his kids, family, and friends to see him! It wouldn't have gone THIS far if you hadn't snuck him out of California and telling no one. YOU are treating him like a pawn in some game. All his kids wanted to do was see him. You brought this on yourself, Liberty, and him. Also, if you want things to stay private then don't hold press conferences bringing out audio tapes claiming it's him and putting him in the middle yet again! This is your fault! No one else's!

I am getting very pissed off right now because of Kerri Kasem. She keeps making TV appearances and she still has power of Casey Kasem.  One thing I did learn from Jean Kasem's press conference from Seattle last weekend is that, Kerri Kasem's a scientologist, so that's the only strike I've got against her! |

That was more Jean Kasem rhetoric. Kerri dabbled in scientology at one point but is not a diehard serious scientologist

FYI, there are Scientologists who post on this board. I don't think all of them are like the Travolta's and Cruise's of the world. Just like as an Evangelical Christian, Fred Phelps and those like him do not represent mine or most any other evangelical I knows beliefs and ways of expressing them.

At this point I would rule Jean mentally unfit to be Casey's caretaker. For a woman who claims to have his best interest and legacy in mind, she is truly a disturbing individual. I hope Casey receives the care he needs and the courts ensure Jean is kept a distance from him. And I call bull on ANYTHING she says now. Which I did from the beginning, because if this was an issue with the kids, there was no need for Casey to be isolated from other family and close friends.Jean is a troubled woman.

Also at this point, popular opinion or not, I place some blame on Liberty. Whether she is just following moms orders blindly or not, she is old enough to know better and try to put a stop to this or at least be neutral. Her and mommy want Casey's money

Her and mommy want Casey's money If she was in the limelight she should say "I do not condone this behavior and wish there was something I could do." However, maybe she doesn't. Just because someone doesn't publicly comment on things doesn't mean they are pro or con whatever it is. That said, I'm leaning towards your view. |

I don't even know what to think anymore, I'm just incredibly saddened it has come to this.
Prayers are needed for Casey Kasem and his family.
