Does anyone have stations in particular that they like in terms of sound quality, good execution of the shows (i.e. doesn't miss segments, play the wrong show, come in late on commercials, etc.), and plays all the extras? It looks like I'm going to need some new streams to tune into starting this weekend...
Does anyone listen to or like KKLI? They sound like they have good audio quality...

Another one bites the dust? WMLX - Lima/St. Mary's, OH was airing something called the 80's show this evening instead of AT40 - the 80s. Looks like one of the better Saturday evening options for the 80s shows may be no more... WMLX did not drop the show. It now airs Sunday 9am-1pm. #25 on now, "When She Was My Girl"

Did anyone attempt to catch the SUnday replay on Hits 100 Aruba? Although the first page indicates 5-9PM Eastern on Sundays, I think it may have started at 8PM last night.

Good to know...when they stopped airing on Saturday evenings, I looked on their website and couldn't find any evidence of them still airing it. Thanks for letting me know! Just as an FYI, I did listen in to KKLI this weekend, and was impressed with both their audio and the way they do the shows. No overlaps or late break-ins on commercial breaks, and they play all four extras. Good Saturday morning option from what I could tell...

I didn't know either until yesterday morning. I was just flipping through my favorites on iheartradio to see who was airing what on a Sunday morning and was pleasantly surprised to hear the show still on that station

Did anyone attempt to catch the Sunday replay on Hits 100 Aruba? Although the first page indicates 5-9PM Eastern on Sundays, I think it may have started at 8PM last night. I can't speak for recent Sunday airings, but... After a couple of weeks away from this forum, I'm gobsmacked that I'm the first to report that Hits 100 seems to have flipped from '80's shows to '70's shows on Saturdays!!! On Saturday, September 27th, I tuned in to Hits 100 Aruba around 1:30 pm Eastern time, hoping to catch the third Optional Extra from that weekend's September 27th, 1986 show ("Amanda" by Boston), but what I heard was the third Optional Extra from that weekend's September 24th, 1977 show ("Baby, What A Big Surprise" by Chicago), followed by the beginning of that show's last segment (the intro to #2, "Float On" by The Floaters)! I didn't stay tuned in to find out what followed, but the timing suggests that they began that week's '70's show, not the '80's show, at 11:00 am Eastern time on Saturday... On Saturday, October 4th, around 11:15 am Eastern time, I tuned into Hits 100 for a couple of minutes out of curiosity, and sure enough, I was hearing "Spill The Wine" by Eric Burdon & War, #36 on that week's October 3rd, 1970 show, rather than something in the second segment of that week's October 5th, 1981 show... If Hits 100 Aruba gives us the '70's show this coming Saturday at 11 am Eastern, it looks safe to say that they've flipped decades in that time slot!... However, Michael Casselman suggests that he heard at least part of the '80's show at such a time as implies that it started around 8 pm Eastern time on Sunday night, so perhaps Hits 100 Aruba is now giving us both decades at different points during the weekend, as many other stations do -- looks like we'll need to spot-check this station all weekend long to verify this, and to see whether either decade is also replayed at some other point during the weekend (for instance, Michael, was it definitely "in house" programming around 5 pm Eastern time this past Sunday, or had you just tuned in long enough to establish that you weren't hearing music from 1986? Maybe you'd caught the beginning of the 1977 show and didn't realize it!)...

Also, my two cents on the old "AT40 - 80s - Stations List" thread being bumped up from time to time, including just this past weekend...
I notice that the actual stations list itself (the first post) has been removed in the old "AT40 - 70s - Stations List" thread, and that thread hasn't been bumped up since late June, so doing the same in the 80s thread might go a long way to discourage people from relying on the 80s thread as a resource and responding to it...
And if we can get "pizzzzza" to do that, I presume that we can get him to modify the names of both the 80s and 70s threads to something like "Old Commentary On The AT40 [70s/80s] Station List", so that people know that no current discussion lies there, yet people know that such commentary is available for archival purposes (if, for example, they wanted to remind themselves of exactly when KOKZ started their online stream or exactly when CKWW ceased Tuesday night presentations)...

All I know is that about 8:45 Sunday, I was spot-checking the station (I left my recording run long from when it started earlier in the afternoon, and figured the show was over), when I heard Casey outro-ing "Watching the Wheels", the LDD in the first hour of the show.

(First, please allow me to pedantically correct small errors in my quoted paragraph above; I should have said "music from 1981" and "the 1970 show"!!!...) Yeah, that spot-check is indeed consistent with the '80's show having started up at 8 pm Eastern time on Hits 100 Aruba this past Sunday -- so if you haven't heard anything at all prior to the 8 pm hour, it's still an open question as to whether the '70's show is airing in the old Sunday-repeat timeslot of 5 pm Eastern... (Though if it is, that'd mean they run the '70's show from 5:00 to 7:40-ish, then play in-house music until 8:00, then run the '80's show! An odd arrangement to which to commit each and every week!...) Well, as conditions permit, I'll spot-check Hits 100 Aruba all this weekend, and see whether I can't determine what shows they're playing, and from which decade, and when they're played, and whether they're repeated...

Hits 100's website says the 70s is on Tuesday at 9 p.m. and Saturday at 11 am -- but at 11:15 a.m. today it's not on the stream.
The online Papiamento translators are choking on the days of the week for the 80s. I assume "Diadomingo" means Sunday (at 5 p.m.), but "Diahubs" when it airs at 9 p.m., well, that I can't figure out.

I never thought to check elsewhere on the site (which is all the more embarrassing, considering that all I had to do was scroll down to the bottom of the main page)!!! However, the '70's show is streaming on Hits 100 Aruba as I type (#4, "Disco Duck", Rick Dees) -- I'd also checked it shortly after noon Eastern time (#21, "The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald" by Gordon Lightfoot); perhaps they started late, as it looks like they'll run past the expected 1:40 pm ET end time... Googling "diahubs aruba" got me references to "6 Sep 2012 . . . Diahubs 6 di September" and "diahubs 16-Aug-2012", strongly suggesting that "Diahubs" is Thursday! Looks like we'll still need to monitor this station, though, as Michael Casselman reported an 8 pm ET start for the '80's show, rather than 5 pm, last Sunday!...

Or just skipped the start -- if #21 was playing a little after noon, they couldn't have started all that late if they were on the second song of the second segment of the second hour shortly after noon, even if they omitted almost all breaks, if my math is right. I get the idea this is a station that is not exactly run like clockwork. Of course, if I were living on an island paradise, I might be les focused on work, too.
