With all I've read and heard about Casey's health and current condition, I think it's reprehensible what Jean is doing to those people.

BrettVW, thank you for the updated postings. One item that's not addressed in either article -- why Casey's brother is prevented from seeing him. There's no mention of that.

Geez, that lawyer (Marshall Grossman--perhaps aptly named) sounds obtuse, calling Casey's offspring's actions a "sham" and dismissing them with "They have seen their father before he dies, and hopefully he's not dying now." I think Kerri said it best after the hearing, asking him if he had his own kids and could somehow relate. And it's nice if Jean is keeping Casey's hair and nails looking good. So why won't she let anyone (except social authorities, police detectives, and presumably doctors) see him and this handiwork? |

Waiting in the car rider line to pick up my son from school so I can't post the article but I just checked all access and the judge saw no reason to grant temporary conservatorship to the kids. Case isn't dismissed however. Appears here will be a trial to review medical records and all in November.

The only thing I'll add here is, I really hope for the best for Casey Kasem and prayers to all involved.

If he's bedridden (perhaps even confined to a wheelchair) in any way, I could see him being diagnosed for bedsores or other rashes/bruising that might indicate he wasn't being cared for, that might involved being partially disrobed to make a determination.

From 1010 WINS radio in New York they are saying today 10/19/2013, that the housekeeper has lost a law suite from Casey and his wife over being paid for her services. The station used the words "gravely ill Casey Kasem." 1010 WINS says this source comes from TMZ.
