Would it be obnoxions if Ryan Seacrest (current AT40 host) or Shadoe Stevens (1988-1995 AT40 host) did a radio commercial that aired during an AT40: The 70's/AT40: The 80's commercial break? As long as Ryan or Shadoe isn't describing his bowel movement or pleasuring himself in the shower, not obnoxious at all!  Premiere wouldn't care whose voice is on an ad as long as they're getting paid for the air time... |

I think I'm gonna switch from KOKZ to The Max .. .way less commercials, enough to throw in extras in addition to the optional extras and still finish early.
No mother and daughter shower teams, or some lady admiring her own work in the toilet. XD

You and me both...wish we could "un-listen" to it. My poor ears...LOL. I heard it last night on the radio broadcast of the Super Bowl. Yup, those same commercials are on there too. |

This must be the year of the bodily function ads. So far this year we got prostate issues/peeing, pooping, whatever you think Katie is doing in the shower, and we're only 6 weeks in. Up next - flatulence? Wait 'til flu season kicks into high gear...

I've heard the #2 ad on local sports radio. One time, the hosts came back, mentioned TMI and didn't want to hear it (at least the first part so that they don't upset the station nor the people who got the ad on).

Listening to WTOJ (Ken Martin's station) and many (though not all) of the commercials are cut. Instead there's an announcement that the station is in a break, with soft background music. Something to consider for both the 70s and 80s shows if you're tired of hearing the same ads 20 times every show.

I haven't heard "number 2" or Katie in the shower at all today, so maybe they're finally gone. *fingers crossed*
Also, it's not obnoxious but I hate the Home Depot commercials with the dramatic-sounding music in the background.

The Lowe's ad was getting on my nerves today. Sometimes it played two or three times back to back. It would even interrupt the Home Depot ad (not that I cared about that).

I've listened to both the 70s and 80s "A" shows for this weekend, and they must be doing "Battle of the Obnoxious Ads" this weekend. I don't think they missed any of the recent obnoxious ads. Katie must have been in the shower at least once an hour.
