Another pseudoscientific advertiser (remember Amberin?), and this one's way grosser: The new "toxic cleanse" enema advertiser, of course. "25 pounds of toxins"--what (pardon the pun) crap!

This may not be as bad, but Total Transformation, which is advertised ad nauseum on Casey's AT40 reruns, is now leaking into Ryan Seacrest's shows as well; AT40.com aired two versions of their ads, one of which is the same as that played on Casey's shows and another a different one. I'm sure it's helpful to some families, but enough already!

I AM glad the 'chop swap' ads gave up!

I AM glad the 'chop swap' ads gave up! Maybe the Pork Board was informed of Casey's longtime, active veganism (he's been vegetarian for 40 years), or he objected to their ads? I found their sponsorship somewhat ironic; why would they want to advertise on a show hosted by someone who has long spoken out against consumption of their product, and meat in general?

I'll never forget the day I was reading this thread and your comment reminded me of the day I will never forget when I was listening to AT 40 and the Total Transformation Lady came on and said she would never forget the day that her son told her he hated her and slammed the door in her face. Maybe if she stopped talking about it during every commercial break she might be able to forget it?

I have a local AM chock-full of right-wing talk shows my elderly father (seemingly) admires, most of which are Premiere-distributed, and have to endure many of these...
The hormone-stimulants (there's at least one male version to go along with the one for women) get plenty of mileage as does Mrs. Lehman...
I've yet to find the colon cleanse product, but it's got to show up soon if I know Premiere...
Another annoyance who's actually crept into the Casey shows in recent years is Stansberry, an investment outfit from Baltimore employing various shenanigans to get you to buy their (rather pricey) advice sheets... their owner is allegedly wanted by the US government, and has been living on some island for years...
(I really don't think dad cares as much about these rightie talkers, or anything on that station apart from the news breaks three times an hour... Fox News Radio, powered by... Premiere!)
