"Floetry" continues to annoy the hell out of me but a close second are those Jerry Mathers Diabetes commercials. I continue to be amazed how many Erectile Dysfunction commercials there are. Although if I had to look/hear Flo I guess I would have ED too.

Wasn't it refreshing to hear a candy bar ad on the AT40 shows this weekend? Butterfinger cups are a little too rich for my taste though. Hopefully the Flo ads will die off like disco in 1979 did, and return of Butterfinger, Reece's Pieces, Mounds and Almond Joy like we heard in the late 80's/early90's. Sometimes I feel like an AT40nut, sometimes I don't. (Insert rim shot here)

Any commercial that adds fake concert cheerin', like the 1 for Duran squared. I would assume that the current Duran Duran, Hall and Oates, and Bryan Adams tours must all have the same concert promoter, as there have been ads running on AT40 for all three tours (the Brian Adams ad just happens to be on as I type this, on WMGN, along with the fake crowd noise). Also ads for a concert tour by some guy named Ray LaMontaine (?), whom I've never even heard of. |

I love those Geico commercials (especially the "Swedish techno" one) although they are getting into annoying, overplayed "Flo" from progressive territory

About the 1 Butterfinger cup ad, the clarinet sound effect reminds me more of a trumpet/cornet. here in the UK butterfinger cups cost nearly £2 so are pretty expensive,Reese's cups are cheaper though at around a pound  |
