Just a heads up...This morning I heard Katie and her mom twice on a local radio station. That station (WRIT) airs the classic AT40 shows on Sundays. Katie's been MIA on AT40 lately, but she may be back! The new ad for Go Go Squeeze has me missing Katie and her mother. What makes me miss Katie and her Mom even more is the ad for Metro PCS-"digging for oil in my basement" ie "dysfunctional family plan" After 7 straight hours of listening/recording the two Premiere offerings this past morning, I am already annoyed with that ad, and it's only week one !

Gang, Katy and her mom are back. Heard the ad on this weekend's ACC rewind. Now that summer is coming to and end, I think we'll hear more of them. A hot, steamy shower becomes more appealing as the weather cools.

'Hi Jamie, this is Jamie, Progressives #1 number two employee' is starting to get on my nerves. It's Progressive, so it's par for the course...

I have been lucky about missing the awful ads lately--the intro music leading into the Home Depot ad always tells me that I must turn down the volume for roughly five minutes. Of course, it is a bit of Russian roulette because Premier often varies the length of the commercial sets.

Bringing a thread back from the dead...guess what's back? Everyone's favorite, "My number two--doesn't look like a number two"!

Sure don't miss those - I'll stick to my original shows, with the original network commercials. You wouldn't hear commercials like that back then. No Flo, no Katie in the shower, no "my number two doesn't look like number two"... although one can tell how dated the original commercials are once you hear them!

Just for mga707 and Hervard... "...and welcome to American Top 40. In chart action this week, Don McLean's 'American Pie' once again looks like a number one song. And Think's 'Once You Understand' looks like a number two..."

About a week ago I caught the end of a Jergens ad on TV which featured our favorite mother and daughter. It didn't hit me until the very end of the ad. At the end of the ad, Katie's mom appears to have a foot fetish and Katie is a bit creeped out by her mom's comment.

I just hope that the producers of Glee don't get any ideas from the Go Go Squeeze ad that I keep hearing. They just might pull a Will To Power and use "Our Lips Are Sealed"/"Tempted" as a medley! I think they've ruined enough songs I found it ironic that Billy Vera & The Beaters' "At This Moment" was at #2 on the 2-7-87 show. That # 2 really was a #2 and shouldn't have been a #1 or #3 LOL
