Steve Martin featuring the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band on "King Tut". They are actually the backing band and that info is courtesy of Slammin Sam on his American Music Chronological 1978 special.

How about Elt featuring George Michael: Wrap Her Up I'd also throw George getting a feature credit for the top 5 1989 song, "Heaven Help Me" by Deon Estus.

Can't believe nobody mentioned this one:
"Take Me Home Tonight," Eddie Money featuring Ronnie Spector
(Edit: She is credited on the label in the fine print for guest vocals, but not as a featured artist.)

And here's a pre-AT40 one I recently learned about: Ramblin' Gamblin' Man - Bob Seger System featuring Glenn Frey Bob Seger had another song featuring Eagles vocalists: "Fire Lake" from 1980. Since we seem to be on a roll here, how about "Magnet and Steel" by Walter Egan with Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham... And for that matter, John Stewart's "Gold" also features Stevie Nicks on backing vocals. Also "Still The Same" by Bob Seger f/Dawn

I Want To Be Your Man - Roger f/Nicole Cottom I remember that song. Nicole's vocals, albeit brief, reminded me of Kelly Rowland's vocals on Nelly's 2002 song "Dilemma".

John Stewart featuring Stevie Nicks....Midnight Wind I sifted though previous pages before suggesting a track by John Stewart but luckily for me, the OP posted a different song than what I had in mind. I was going to suggest Gold that had Stevie Nicks on backing vocals and Lindsey Buckingham. Today if a song doesn't have a feature, it seems like the odd one out. Maybe that's why so much of today's music sounds so much the same. Not sure if that's a fact or just me becoming an old fart. btw, you guys put my music knowledge to shame.
