I'll add another one from the 6/9/84 show. This song would debut on the Hot 100 this week, and would eventually peak at number 46. This song would later be more famous for what it prevented: a slam dunk for Best New Artist in 1986 for one of the singers, a controversy that became more rampant after Jody Watley won the award in 1988. Heck, Richard Marx even brought up the controversy in 2001. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoS9lMSfhrk

Are they just listing the songs, or providing actual songs/videos on the web page?

Offering a lost classic from 6/12/82, which failed to reach Billboard's top 40; it's a fun, guitar-rocking remake of the Strangeloves hit from Summer 1965: "I Want Candy" - Bow Wow Wow www.youtube.com/watch?v=_crXC-rFG9E

Offering a lost classic from 6/29/85, which failed to reach Billboard's top 40. It's a solid cover of the Impressions hit from spring 1965: "People Get Ready" - Jeff Beck and Rod Stewart www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNuPX0e407Y

My pick for the 1985 show: Your Love Is King - Sade www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1ljpLQ1V6YOther song that was considered: Call Me - Go West I was going to choose "All You Zombies" but it is now chosen as one of the optional extras.

Offering a lost classic from 7/09/83, which failed to reach Billboard's top 40. It's a distinctly reggae-infused remake of the Chuck Berry hit from spring 1958: "Johnny B. Goode" - Peter Tosh www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8WRzdN43BI

Offering a lost classic from 7/12/80, which bubbled under Billboard's hot 100 of that chart date. It's a delightful cover of the Billy Stewart hit from summer 1965: "Sitting in the Park" - GQ www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDcS9pllILk

This week in 1982 - the first is almost hard to call a "lost" classic, since it is fairly well known by 80's music fans and just missed the top 40, the other is ONJ's forgotten follow-up to "Make a Move On Me", which surprisingly failed to make the Top 40 after "Physical" was such a megahit, and "Make a Move On Me" went top 5. Both are great songs... www.youtube.com/watch?v=IasCZL072fQwww.youtube.com/watch?v=T7r_-Nrrs7o

Offering a "lost classic" from 7/24/82, this song would peak at #55 and serve as a nice tribute from two members of the group in memory of their father: (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay - The Reddings www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYj8xsJ9-4c

For the week of July 25, 1981...one of the best singles from the late Teena Marie, which debuted at #82 on the Hot 'Hundred and would fall just shy of the top 40: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANDoLtJTu-QApparently there is no video (or at least I couldn't find one).

Can't decide between two lost classics from the July 25, 1981 show, so I'll offer up both. First one is the third of four singles the band co-wrote with Jim Peterik (Ides of March, Survivor). Fantasy Girl - 38 Special www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2a7qQ3FHMcAn ex-Eagles member also debuted on the charts during this week. Last year he released a great CD titled "Road To Forever". Heavy Metal (Takin' A Ride) - Don Felder www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODJnUeuX0wM
