After a vintage 'mixed bag' comment Alan peaked Dr. Noah Drake at #10 when Rick's Affair topped off at #9. That was actually its Cashbox peak. I also mentioned about Alan being one off with said peak.

In their ever changing definition of a hit, Alan said ZZ Top's Eliminator had 5 big ones. Three singles charted on the Hot 100, only 1 got higher than #35. Then he said it was their biggest album. It was their 5th highest charter. Then Mark called Rio one of Duran X 2's biggest. Not even close. Rio was not one of their 11 top tenners. In the very same show Alan declared DMR one hit wonders even though followup 'Soul Brothers would get onto the Hot 100. Then he said Let's Dance was Bowie's biggest, really 2nd behind Fame.

Mark moved 'Greatest Love 12-7, WH was really pole vaulting ten up to #12. Then in their ever changing definition of a hit, he said Benson's #24 original was a biggie. Plus, Mark also said the Whitney Houston "Greatest Love of All" topped the R&B chart. Actually, it was the Adult Contemporary chart that it topped. Whitney's "Greatest Love" couldn't quite do the same on the then-Black Singles chart, stalling at #3.

Alan peaked Head To Toe at #3, it really topped the chart. Then he said 'High Life had 5 big ones. Four songs reached the Hot 100 for Winwood. That fifth song was more than likely "Split Decision", which Wikipedia said was a US hit, but definitely not on the Hot 100. If they want to stick to just the Hot 100, they have to find a better source than Wikipedia.

Alan peaked Big Love at #7, really #5 for Mac. Probably saw it held at 7 the next week and assumed it stopped when it would move into that peak the week after that one.

If I worked at Sirius XM, then at holiday time I’d secret-Santa a few people some Joel Whitburn books...
