It has been fixed as of the first Sunday afternoon airing. Yes, the full seven and a half minute salute to Stevie Wonder is now in there. But why didn't someone notice it before Friday night?

And relating to the 1990s countdown, last weekend they did an April 1994 show with a chart where the #1 song was "Bump and Grind" by R. Kelly, whose music 90s on 9 will not play. (Downtown Julie Brown announced it but didn't play it.)
This wasn't really a mistake as that policy has been in effect for some time, but it's awkward not to hear the #1 song. Couldn't they have held off on 1994 for a few more weeks and a show with something else on top?

Nina called Elton John's tribute to John Lennon "Empty Gardens" and then it sounded like "hey, hey John" but the music may have cut her off on my feed. It did sound like she said Johnny but it was rather quick and you would have to lister rather closely. As for the "Gardens" part? Yeah.

Couldn't they have held off on 1994 for a few more weeks and a show with something else on top? Just like with our favorite 80s countdown, they don't seem to put any effort into the show choices. I think the 90s show puts in even less effort, as they don't stick to any kind of year rotation at all.

No errors for the show of 1983? Wow!! Well I did hear Nina spell out Oxo's name and I think Alan was off by one with the peak of the Rick Springfield song. I don't listen as closely as some people do for errors and there probably were others but that's expected.

In their ever changing definition of a hit, Alan said ZZ Top's Eliminator had 5 big ones. Three singles charted on the Hot 100, only 1 got higher than #35. Then he said it was their biggest album. It was their 5th highest charter. Then Mark called Rio one of Duran X 2's biggest. Not even close. Rio was not one of their 11 top tenners.

Mark actually correctly ID'd the Mornin' artist as Jarreau. However the display calls him Al. You can't win 'em Al.
