I shudder to think what that show, which already had shortened versions of some songs, will sound like even shorter!

CKUL-FM are going with 1978. Here's the post: This week Casey Kasem's Original ATF the 70's: This Saturday morning at 8 on Kool FM Casey Kasem's original American Top 40 We go back with Part One of the Top 100 of 1978. Great music from Abba, Boston, ELO, Barry Manilow, Robert Palmer, Bob Seger and More No 4 hour version though

No 4 hour version though It's not that they won't air the 4 hour version. The show was edited to fit 100 songs in 6 hours and that is the only version offered by Premiere to all stations this weekend.

Guys, I'm one of the folks that don't record the shows for posterity. I discoverred a way to hear all of the 'songs on the '78 show in their entirety. Copy down the list from Wikipedia, then, use the list to go on to YouTube, and, listen to 'em THAT way! That's how I'm gonna do it! Happy New Year, everybody!

Premiere could have also chose to start hour 3 of 8 to begin the show - but they chose not to either.
