The new AT40 show open and many of the sweepers are now the same as his weekday "On Air" show. They even say "On Air" and add an AT40 reference at the end

The new AT40 show open and many of the sweepers are now the same as his weekday "On Air" show. They even say "On Air" and add an AT40 reference at the end I hate CC/Premiere. Basically they are saying their radio listening audience is so stupid and in lockstep like sheep that if it doesn't sound like the same opening they'll turn it off because it's not the same thing they are used to. |

That, plus they don't want to pay to create seperate AT40 jingles and sweepers, so they just tack on a quick "AT40" voice stinger at the end of an On Air sweeper. This is why radio is in the shape that it is

This is why radio is in the shape that it is The part I hate the most is I'm NOT On Air with Ryan Seacrest! If I were I'd be like Lex & Terry when they were syndicated by Cox and rip them on a daily basis! I don't listen to them or their brand of radio anymore, but they did it all the time when they were with them! |
