This weekend's (12/22-23/07) edition of "AT40: The 80s" will feature a rebroadcast of part one of the Top 100 of 1984.

We know that this weekend's (12/29-30) edition of "AT40: The 80's" will feature part 2 of The Top 100 of 1984, while the "AT40: The 70's" will feature part 2 of The Top 100 of 1978.
Does anyone already know what will be the feature of those programs for the first weekend of the New Year (1/5-6)? Will either of them be a special program or regular weekly countdown?

My guess is that it will be a regular show. Don't know for sure though.

If it is a weekly show, it would almost have to be the 1/10/81 show because every other show that begins the year was guest hosted. Unless, they decide to play the Top 50 songs of the 70's special. |

I now found that the 80's show of this weekend will feature the episode of January 24, 1987 while the 70's show will feature that of January 16, 1971. Unlike on XM, there seems to be no further year-end countdown AT40 shows on terrestrial (or FM) stations in January.

Any news of what shows will be airing this week on AT40: The 70s and The 80s this week?
I'm gonna take a wild guess is that the years will be 1975 and 1982.

I think they jumped ahead last week due to the fact that Casey seldom hosted the "week after the year end show" show each year.

This week's (1/26-27/08) edition of "Casey Kasem's American Top 40: The 80s" will feature a rebroadcast of the show from January 23, 1988.
Yes, a former Flashback show...but fans of 1988 shows will be excited just the same, as this is only the second 1988 show to be featured on the new series.

I listened to this show this past weekend online on WQSR Balitmore and the segement featuring positions #23 to #21 were replaced the same segement that featured songs #24 and #23 and a long distance dedication from Jan. 1981. I guess they are not fans of Hall And Oates in Baltimore  |
