Geez, they seem to be using a lot of shows that were originally used as Flashback shows!

When listening to the show from Dec. 4, 1982, I was just wondering whether someone has ever heard and recorded this blunder: Song #37, "What About Me" by Moving Pictures is introduced by Casey as the first hit for this "6-man Australian band"; the song is played, and after that Casey tells us: "The 6-man CANADIAN band formed in Sydney, Australia..." Now, that must have been a fairly early form of the effects globalization brings along ;-)

I predict that this week's show will be from 1984 probaly because of the U2 gaff was record for the show. I hope so! They haven't done '84 in months and I love a lot of the songs that were out around this time that year, especially WE BELONG by PAT BENATAR ;D

Well, at least from #40 - #3! KQLL in Tulsa cut off the program with two songs left to go! Then I won't brag about WMMX playing the whole thing this morning ;D It may be coincidental, but the broadcast on WMMX went over four hours. If you were recording or want to hear it again, try the online stream tomorrow morning (Sunday) at 8 (Central) for KMMX Lubbock. The stream typically takes about 30 seconds to load.

Well, at least from #40 - #3! KQLL in Tulsa cut off the program with two songs left to go! WMMX have done that before, but they played the top 2 this morning... I used to love when they did AT40 extras, but now I hate it because they always play the same three songs - "Maniac", "Come On Eileen", and "Stand Back" (love that one though!)

If you thought KQLL goofed up, you should have listened to WNSN airing of AT40 the 80s on Saturday night, 12/15. The whole show did air except for the optional segments. However, the segments where are out of order. For instance, the end of the 1st hour had the #2 and #1 song. The start of the 2nd hour had the correct segment with song #29, then the next segment had the start of the show with last weeks #1, then #40. The last hour had the end hour #1 segment and the end hour #3 segment. This station is in South Bend, Indiana when a major snowstorm was affecting Indiana that night. It sound like the regular board opp couldn't make it to the station, the last dj was trying their best to air AT40 the 80s.
