WRVF aired the wrong AT40 80s show again. On 11/3/07, instead of airing the 11/1/80 show, WRVF reran the 8/6/88 show (Last Casey ABC Show) that was broadcasted on the 8/12/07 weekend.
Most likely, one of these two things happened.
1. 1980 Music is considered too old for WRVF target audience.
2. WRVF was planning to switch to all Xmas, but decided at the last minute to wait until next weekend for the switch. The AT40 80s show was not downloaded into their computer system. Thus, they decided to replay an previous aired show.
Don't you just love it when a radio station goofs up?!

So they keep old shows on file? Can they not download it from Premiere's website manually if need be?

This weekend's (11/10-11/07) edition of "AT40: The 80s" will feature a rebroadcast of the show from 11/9/85. I learned that Scritti Politti was a New York band (when reformed) and that Corey Hart's "Boy In The Box" has to be one of the oddest long-distance dedications.

No...this isn't the "Boy in a Box" LDD show. The two LDDs are "Like a Rock" by Bob Seger and "I'm So Excited" by the Pointer Sisters.
The show WAS, however, featured as a "Flashback" show on November 17, 2001.

Is that what "Boy In The Box" is about? Alcoholism? I didn't know that, but then again I can't understand many of the lyrics.

Well, here are the lyrics. Not sure what to make of them.
When I go out I can see the world from inside Without a doubt I can shake my head and scream and shout [Because] I can't take it no more I can't stand it no more
Who's laughin' at me?
Through the night Was the giant sleeping? The endless flight O the mystery's for keeping [Because] I can't take it no more I can't stand it no more
Who's staring at me I gotta say -
Chorus: Pull up your sox You're the boy in the box What did the rebel say? When the wolf cried "fox" To the boy in the box Will you come out to play
One, two (Spoken) You can't get enough Three, four Open up the door Six, five Alive is the boy in the box
Chorus
And no-one talks To the boy in the box When the world cried "fox" to the boy in the box
One, two I can't get enough Three, four Open up the door Six, five Alive is the boy in the box
Like a boy in the box The boy in the box Like a boy in the box

My interpretation -- depression, social rejection, alcoholism, or any other addiction, depending on your perspective.

A little further research on my part turned up something fairly interesting...
Neither the original broadcast from 11/15/86 nor the Flashback re-broadcast of the show in 2001 contained the Bob Seger LDD. They obviously edited that IN.
