The Top 100 of 1983 leads off with "Far From Over" by Frank Stallone. Whatever became of Frank Stallone nowadays? Was wondering that - Sylvester went on to many more projects (as we all know) - appears Frank's career wasn't as spectacular. He did some more albums and was the subject of a 2021 documentary. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Stallone

Since I'm playing all 8 hours of the '83 show this weekend, the first weekend of '24 will have another year end Top 100 show. Premiere didn't offer an A and B for the 80's this year, so I picked one. Yes it is 1984 - The Top 100 of 1984 leads off with "Lights Out" by Peter Wolf from J Geils band solo. Thank you - looking forward to it!! It started over at 3pm ET Don't get to hear the Top 50 of 1984 I guess. Dang...what happened Ken?

When I started listening to WTOJ 2h ago No59 (Culture Club) was played... Then instead of going on with 50-1 the computer seemed to make a reset to 100 again

Ken might be buried in a snowdrift right now based on the radar.

Playing the rest of the countdown for 1984 now. I know that's not gonna do some of you any good. I sincerely apologize!

If you wanna know how he looks today, this short video is from just 4 months ago, (not a musical event), with his brother Sylvester & his brother’s family in a private audience with the Pope. youtu.be/MzJkMmf_0rc

(when seeing Frank) I am surprised Frank didn't break into his one hit...maybe the Pope would sing (or dance) along, like he tried to box Sylvester!

Since it last aired in 2019, I'll predict 1/23/82 for the week of January 20. It was last an 'A' in 2016 however.

I'm guessing 1/26/1980 for the weekend of January 27, 2024, it was last played in 2016 as a B and in 2011 as an A, so 8 & 12 years respectively!

My guess is for for the first OPTIONAL EXTRA of "Too Hot" to be replaced by the AT40 Archives song of "Rich Girl" by Daryl Hall and John Oates.

My guess is for for the first OPTIONAL EXTRA of "Too Hot" to be replaced by the AT40 Archives song of "Rich Girl" by Daryl Hall and John Oates. Either the Pink Floyd or Tom Petty songs would be a better fit for replacement if need be, since 'Rich Girl' was the third hour Archives extra.
