That may open up 11/29/1986 to air on the weekend of 11/30. It's only been played once, in 2015. All other November and December 1986 shows have aired since.

11/17/84 had one of the occasional LDD’s where the listener misidentified the song: they asked for “Memories” by Barbra Streisand, though it was clear they meant “The Way We Were”. A couple of weeks later there was another, when the listener requested Kenny Loggins’ “Welcome To Hard Life” (actually Heartlight). Another time someone requested "Jeremiah Was A Bull Frog."

Not likely, since 11/02/1985 aired earlier this month.

There's one "pattern" Premiere always follows for November and December, and that is to only have each year represented once in the eight weeks prior to the year-end countdown. Since 1985 was already used for the November 2-3 show, that eliminated it for November 30-December 1, making seminolefan automatically correct. So 1986 is excluded from the following weekend.

I'm thinking we get 81, 83 and 87 in December before the year-ends kick in. My personal preference would be 12/17/83, 12/19/81, and 12/26/87, but I'll takes wut I gets.

The weekend of November 23 will feature November 27, 1982. The show last aired in 2014. The optional extras back then were: Hour 1 : Bill Conti - Theme from Dynasty Hour 2 : Peter Gabriel - Shock the Monkey Hour 3 : Steve Winwood - Valerie Hour 4 : Elvis Presley - The Elvis Medley

Obviously right on the years, now that I've pointed out the pattern: We've had 11/2/85 and 11/17/84, and we know this coming weekend is 11/22/80 and 11/27/82 the weekend after that.
So those three years, and 1986, will be in December. But you guessed wrong on two of the three weeks.

What about the year end countdown for the end of December 2024 and start of January 2025? I think enough has been revealed that you might be able to hazard a guess, but that one I really can't break Premiere's rules about when there's still a month to go.

"Telstar" by The Tornadoes is one of the featured "AT40 Archive" songs on this week's presentation from 11/22/80-What's significant about this particular instrumental is that it marked the first time a British group scored a # 1 hit on the Billboard "Hot 100" which was two years before The Beatles pulled that off-By the way,"Telstar" stayed atop the Hot 100 for three weeks starting 12/22/62.

While not technically a 'group', British clarinetist Mr. Acker Bilk had scored a #1 single for one week earlier in 1962 (May) with "Stranger On the Shore".

Kudos to Premiere for presenting this show. The 10/13/84 show that was presented a few weeks ago had a LDD which referenced a LDD from 1980. It's in this week's show!
