Hello all- As of today at 5pm EST, KABQ-FM Albuquerque is now legally the property of new owners. Those owners have decided to take the station "dark" for now, while preparing their new format. While I would love nothing more than to move the 80's format to one of our other frequency's here in Albuquerque, there are no plans for that at this time. Unfortunately last weekend was the final airing of AT40-80's for the station. -tony Shhh! I won't tell anyone KABQ is still broadcasting online. Currently listening to Dude

A possibility is Territory FM, which aired 1981 instead of 1986 two weeks ago. Alternates 70s & 80s. The station airs show 8:30 eastern tonight. 138.80.128.234:8000/TerritoryFMThey just started 4-9-88. They play only the 80's shows according to the promo they played before tonight's show started. Territory FM goes with April 19, 1975.

Last weekend when AT40: The 80's played 4/9/1988 among the station mentions was Kankakee, Illinois WBUS 99.9 FM - I didn't know this station carried AT40 at the 1988 time before it would carry Casey's Top 40 1989-1996! (In Chicago, you'd get Casey and later Shadoe Stevens AT40 on WYTZ Z-95 FM 1987-1991 and Casey's Top 40 on WBBM B-96 FM from 1989-1993).

The wonders of automation, KABQ airing 1985! Now if only secondary HD2 stations could carry AT40: The 70's and AT40: The 80's if thier main stations go all Christmas music each November-December year (Take KOOL 108 Twin Cities, Minnesota and 3WS Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for example).

Not even available on the iHeart app. Not sure how long that’ll last

Is there a schedule somewhere of what shows they play when? On the iHeart AT40 channel itself, there is a chat section on which there is almost always a list of shows to be aired during the day. Using this and the thread I posted above, you can gauge approximately what shows will air when (for the past three years, they have been playing three 80s shows and then one 70s show) I see something that says "Chat About Classic American Top 40" but there is nothing there. It's not a clickable link, and the page is blank right under it. What am I missing?

I really enjoyed the evolution of The Yardbirds on this week's AT40 presentation. Jeff Beck may have played guitar on Mick Jagger on "Just Another Night", but he would fall short of hitting the Top 40 in the summer of 1985 when he teamed up with Rod Stewart on a song called "People Get Ready" which peaked at #48 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

There should be comments that come from a Facebook plugin, like this example: Also, since April 1st, they've gone back to their original format of rotating between the 70s and 80s; as an example, this was the schedule starting around 11:15 AM today: 06/11/1988 06/14/1975 06/16/1984 05/22/1971 08/01/1987 The next show after 1987 will be 5/7/1977 followed by 8/1/1981.

Has there been a late Spring or early Summer AT40: The 80's 1985 episode where Jeff Beck's "People Get Ready" which missed AT40 by 8 spots was played as an OPTIONAL EXTRA?

Until someone can implant a chip in his brain to play only the 70s shows he personally wants to hear, he'll still he a miserable SOB on any public forum he participates in.

Is it possible they removed chat from this show due to toxic behavior?

Which was a remake of a #14 1965 single by The Impressions (Curtis Mayfield's group). I was surprised that the remake missed the 40 as MTV gave the video a lot of airplay that summer.
