Listening to 4/2/88 on WWIS and in the intro to #13 (Hysteria by Def Leppard)Casey said he was retelling the story of how drummer Rick Allen lost his arm in a car crash. Does anyone know when Casey previously told that story? It would likely have been in November or December 1987, when "Animal" was in the top 40. That was DL's only preceding hit following said crash which occurred at the end of 1984. Thank you!!

After checking the cue sheets, to be more specific I think it was December 19, 1987, when "Animal" is underlined indicating a substantial story leading into it. The song is also underlined for January 9, 1988, but Charlie Van Dyke hosted that week.

How does anybody live in Black River Falls? Jennifer Wojcicki just said it was 39. It's not December, it's not January, it's April 3rd! Get this- It was 27 degrees last night in Omaha,Ne with freezing drizzle. I was chipping ice from my windshield off of my car when I left work last night. Now I have two reasons to stay at home today. It supposed to be 80 degrees here on Tuesday. Weather here can turn on a dime. There is a potential to see ice, snow, rain, heat and tornadoes all in the same month. Just another typical spring in the Midwest. You get one day of nice mid 60's then three days later it's right around 32 and as was said it was freezing rain in Nebraska and Iowa with a winter weather advisory yesterday and today. Just need some warmer and dry weather to get the farmers into the fields.

One year I went to the Drake relays in Des Moines and it snowed on April 25th. Just need some warmer and dry weather to get the farmers into the fields.

I wonder how much Columbia, or Jon Landau, or whoever, paid Casey for this week's lengthy, *glowing* ad for Springsteen's live performances. My favorite live performer bar none. His live shows are legendary for a reason--no one had to 'pay' Casey for stating the truth.

Actually, where I live, which is further south than Black River Falls, we've had days in April (up to past the mid-point of the month) where it never got out of the 30s (in fact, I seem to recall that on the day before Easter in 2007, the high was in the 20s). Upper 30s in Black River Falls in early April are not uncommon at all.

It's ironically not underlined on that cue sheet. I had to go into the shows and listen; I couldn't quite remember which one it was.

Much appreciated!

Anyway, the extent to which Bruce's shows being amazing is..."truth"...is not relevant.

Anyway, the extent to which Bruce's shows being amazing is..."truth"...is not relevant. Accusing someone of doing something unethical with ZERO evidence to back it up is pretty bad. Unless you have some evidence you should not make unproven allegations. I'm done with this--not worth dignifying your bizarre claim any further.

Another Easter weekend with 1984. That's right - I remember at one time, we had a consecutive streak going with 1984 being featured on Easter weekend.

What exactly was Premiere's motive, for giving us OEs that were months away from debuting on AT40? Please say. Thanks!

I'm not that far from Black River Falls, and although it was in the 30s in the morning, it got up into the mid to upper 60s in the afternoon. Not unusual. Anything goes in Spring.
