So then there would be Today in the morning, On-Air in the afternoon, AT40 on the weekends, and E! News whenever (and don't forget that he was considered for Larry King's successor, which would have put him on CNN every night.) Not to gainsay his talent, but does the word "overexposure" come to mind?
One thing if he took the Today slot: would he have to move to New York? Then maybe AT40 would no longer really be "from Hollywood". Not that it should affect the sound of the countdown, with today's technology; even from NY he could just read off his parts and the engineers and producers in Cali could mix it all together with the music.

And to add to the overexposure, Ryan also hosts New Year's Rockin' Eve - having much more face time than Dick Clark does nowadays. When Dick Clark passes away someday, Ryan will take over the duties that Mr. Clark currently does.

Hopefully, he'll give up AT40 and return it to the Kasem family where it belongs. Mike would be a great host, in my opinion.

I didn't read the article. Would he move On Air to the afternoon? He does it in the AM Pacific time. To the people claiming it belongs in the Kasem family, it won't happen. Seacrests type of show is what people and radio affiliates want and with someone known hosting it.

The AT40 shows from the last 2 weeks of the year must be already recorded and he uses the miracles of the voicetracking. Maybe he has more holidays than the rest of us.
But he is everywhere and that is a little bit boring.

You know how Majel Barrett Roddenberry's voice is everywhere in the Starfleet /Star Trek universe? That'll be Seacrest in the next 10-20 years. Complete with holographics.

Shouldn't there be a limit to how many networks one guy can be on?
