Correct. It is the original BROADCAST of 11/7/70, which featured the 11/14/70 chart.
Also, interestingly, to my knowledge this is the first edition of "AT40: The 70s" that doesn't nearly immediately fade the close theme after Ed McMann says "Thanks for listening." For those wondering, this is NOT the case on "AT40: The 80s" this week...the theme fades as usual.

I just discovered this past weekend that Magic 96 WMJJ in Birmingham, AL is airing these programs on Saturday morning's and Sunday afternoons. It appears to be the same show each day, or at least it was last weekend. Maybe they will start airing the 70's show on Saturdays and the 80's on Sundays. Just thankful that Casey is back on Magic 96! Do you know what (exact) time shows are aired?

I just listened to my recording of this weekend's show. Ray Price was at #40, and the Jackson Five were at #1. If I'm not mistaken, Kenny Rogers and the First Edition were #40 on the 11/7/70 show and 11/14/70 chart. Looks like it was the 11/7/70 Chart that was broadcast--which was an XM show last year Correct. It is the original BROADCAST of 11/7/70, which featured the 11/14/70 chart. I think that is the same show that is on XM this weekend...I've seen them go back to back weeks where the same show was on XM the week before or after AT40 the 70s, but I don't think we've ever had XM and AT40 the 70s play the same show on the same weekend.

Also, why was "Boogie Nights" Played at number 2 insted of "The wreck of the edmund Fitzgerald? I heard that too. Was this a mistake sent from the syndicator? I heard the Chico, CA broadcast with 11/20/1976 until the final segment which played Boogie Nights (#2) and Debbie Boone (#1) from 11/19/77. It was the only time I could hear my least favorite tunes in high positions on the same chart ("Muskrat Love", "Disco Duck", "Light Up My Life") ;D

KFRC San Francisco had the correct final 2 songs plus AT40 classic for Manfred Mann's "Blinded By The Light." Must be a computer mess at the Chico, CA station?!?
"The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down..."
