I remember hearing the fifth anniversary show & Casey did a fresh intro telling the listeners what to expect.

For 6/29/74, the optionals are: Hour #1: "The Night Chicago Died" - Paper Lace (#74) Hour #2: "Sure As I'm Sitting Here" - Three Dog Night (#88; debuted) Hour #3: "You And Me Against The World" - Helen Reddy (#63) The Three Dog Night song replaces Andy Kim's "Rock Me Gently", which was used in 2014/17. The song was use to honor Disc Jockey Humble Harve Miller, who recently passed away. "Sure As I'm Sitting Here" was one of the songs he introduced as he filled in for Casey on July 13, 1974.

I remember hearing the fifth anniversary show & Casey did a fresh intro telling the listeners what to expect. I heard the 6/21/75 show on SXM last week and Casey promoted it by saying that listeners could expect to hear both 1970 and 1975 Casey. Of course, most 1975 listeners were hearing the debut for the first time (WPGC listeners in my area were an exception.)

So is this the normal link, or a special one because of it being a 4 hour show?

So is this the normal link, or a special one because of it being a 4 hour show? They put up that 4 hour link each Saturday. This weekend, it is notable because the AT40 70's show is a 4 hour show. Usually, it includes one hour of their standard programming followed by the 3 hour 70's AT40.

"Casey-Kasem.m4a" is the three hour link that stays up for a week.

"Casey-Kasem.m4a" is the three hour link that stays up for a week. I understand what you're saying....was just wondering if they always put up two separate links every week.

WPGC was one of the seven stations that aired the first "AT40" almost fifty years ago-New York City had to wait until the spring of 1971 to hear "AT40" on WPIX-FM.

Prediction for next week's show:
1st Guess - 7/15/72 2nd Guess - 7/15/78
1972 would seem to be the front-runner for next week, but a 1978 show wouldn't surprise me since there's only been one '78 show since early March.

This week's presentations (Weekend of July 6-7, 2019): July 10, 1976 / "#1 Hits of the 1970s" Part 5 (October, 1976 - August, 1978) - July 4, 2015 (BONUS) - 4 hours (OPTIONAL ORIGINAL HOUR 1). Does anyone know of a station that is playing #1 Hits of the 70's this weekend? (especially the four hour version?) Also: are there any AT40 marathons planned?
