I recall that Casey also told the story of "Teen Angel" on the countdown from 1/10/76.

Is anyone having trouble with WSQL,was listening on the tunein app on my phone and all of a sudden it stopped and now it says a stream connection error occurred. I can't get it on the listen live on their website either.

^Repeating a show last aired in 2016? Whatever helps you sleep at night....
At least I'll only have to make one new critique next week.
BTW, what show did WSQL play?

WMGN going w/1971. I suspect Hoggy (Sunday 1pm EDT) will be a good bet for 1975, any others? WMGN's been surprising us a lot lately. After several years of mostly shunning 1970-71 (not so much 1972) they opted to play it this week even with a regular 1975 B available. I wonder if they'll play 1979 next week? That's another thing they mostly didn't do--until they played a three hour version of a May 1979 countdown last month.

I tuned in to WPAC's on demand 70s option today and they are running 06/28/75 this week, the "B" option. I was hoping to listen to #31 to #23 on the "A" show of 06/26/71 as I missed those songs Thursday evening when WSQL had some temporary technical difficulties. It shouldn't be too hard to find the "A" show this weekend to hear the songs I missed.

This is something that I haven't heard before on the stations I listen to, but may have been going on for some time: Larry Morgan did an intro working in the song titles that I heard on WOON just before the show started. For this week's 1971 countdown he said that Three Dog Night brought "Joy to the World", the Honey Cone were reading the "Want Ads", Delaney and Bonnie sang us a "Never Ending Song of Love", and Freda Payne wanted to "Bring the Boys Home".
BTW, for Sirius XM subscribers, if you can't find the 1975 B show on terrestrial stations then the satellite service is playing nearly the same one (6/21/75).
And on a personal note, speaking of "Never Ending Song(s) of Love", 6/26/71 is the week my parents were married. Still happy together 48 years later...
