Is it just me, or can anybody else hear Cheap Trick covering "Fox on the Run" by Sweet? Or am I just hearing Sweet's influence on CT?

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that this week was our annual encounter with the quirky edit on Sedaka's "Bad Blood", where they took the word "promise" from a different line and created "The promise is in the smile", deleting the B-word. And as happens every year, there are folks in the Facebook group saying "OMG! I never heard that before!" even tho' Premiere has been running that version for years.

'The promise is in the smile' comes from the first chorus. The line with the B word was used in the second and third choruses. So 'the promise' line ends up being used for all 3 choruses. This is something that Premiere started doing in the last few years. None of the shows that had "Bad Blood" in them in the 2012-16 time frame had the B word line replaced.

And yet the 'bee-yotch' continues to be back in every fall '74 show that Premiere runs with Elton's song in the 40. A very puzzling choice by Premiere to edit one and not the other.

Does Premiere edit out the b word on Hall & Oates' "Rich Girl"?

I don't believe Premiere ever touched "Rich Girl".
