Not a week with a lot of 'big movers'. Marilyn and Billy, up 8 from 14 to 6, take that distinction, followed by Brick, up 6 to 24.

I'll go with 12/12/70 over 12/13/75 for next weekend. 12/12/70 was last aired by Premiere in 2013. The 1975 show last aired in 2017. 1970 was last featured in September.
2 years ago, Sirius XM aired shows from 1971,1974,1977,1978 & 1979 over an 8-week period. Premiere has featured these shows over the past 8 weeks. Next week 2 years ago, SXM aired 12/12/70.

I rather wait until the third weekend of December 2023 when 12/19/1970 can be played so I can hope with Ken Martin's help the #39 song of "So Close" by Jake Holmes is replaced by the correct #39 song of "Love The One You With" by Stephen Stills. And the "So Close" song goes to OPTIONAL EXTRA status with Larry Morgan's description on that AT40 mistake. I also still hope for Christmas weekend 12/22/1979 to be played in all 4 hours with first hour optional. Still hoping 12/13/1975 is next weekend's AT40: The 70's show.

For those getting the AT40 Christmas shows: What is this week's AT10 Christmas B show airing as I listen to it via WXXM Rewind 92.1 FM? The first song is Andy Williams' "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year".
And later this afternoon comes via WVLI Kankakee AT40: The 70's 12/4/1976 where Stevie Wonder's "I Wish" leads things off.

Something like that would probably be a WTOJ exclusive and with them rolling in all the Xmas tune ca$h, it's unlikely we'll ever get a regular show before Dec 26th.

Hasn't Premiere done that previously? I seem to recall a 70's show in the last year or two where a song was bumped to OE status (with the original Casey intro included) and replaced because it was originally in the countdown by mistake?

I thin k you are referring to the Dec. 16, 1972 show in which the wrong side of the debut Rod Stewart single was played. 'B'-side "Los Paraguayos" was played on the original show instead of the 'A'-side, "Angel". I think I commented at the time that Premiere should have left the show asis, error included, and had "Angel" be the OE.

I see the argument for (and in most cases agree with) leaving things 'as is'. In a case like this, though, I see the argument that fixing the mistake allows for 'added value'. Not only did we get the countdown as it should have been heard, but the OE allowed to hear that portion of the original show as it aired. So long as dropping in the new/correct song doesn't step on Casey's voiceovers or radically alter the intent of what he's saying, of course.
