Just to set the record straight, 10/9/71 is *not* the "A" show for this weekend. But 10/13/79 is! Nice curveball Peteski www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/1979-1013.pdfLast played 2019 w/extras: Hour #1: "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" - ABBA Hour #2: "Dreaming" - Blondie Hour #3: "Ladies' Night" - Kool & The Gang Hour #4: "Better Love Next Time" - Dr. Hooker So, which is the A show this weekend? 10/13/1979 or 10/9/1971?

Clues tend to indicate A show for next weekend is from October 9, 1971, which last aired in 2016. Just to set the record straight, 10/9/71 is *not* the "A" show for this weekend. Hmm... somebody really Jach'ed that up. Thanks for straightening the record!

Another one of these weeks where I think the A/B shows (1979/1971) should have swapped, given that in some cases, the year was too soon to be played again. Perhaps that should be considered by Premiere next year to require the further the year it was last played the A show, with the closer the year it last played the B show if necessary, but also make 1975 standalone shows (and maybe even 1974) once again like they used to.

It will be nice to have just one show starting November 4th (assuming Premiere does the "A" show from a specific year, and "B" show as a Christmas Special.) For me, just finding the right time to listen to two shows is a challenge at times. Wondering if Premiere will keep 1976, 1977 and 1978 as standalone years in January.

I also wish 4 hour October 1978-1979 shows went standalone but kept the first hour optional thing.

In terms of A's the last one from 1979 was August 12-13, so that's not too soon for another one (though there were two B's from that year in September.) But 1971 was last an A two weeks earlier and hasn't been aired at all since then until now. 1974, 76, and 78 of course have the longest A/standalone droughts; 1974's drought is especially notable as that year hasn't been played at all since mid-June (1976 and 1978 at least have been B's in the last month.) I could see 10/14/78 going up next week; 1974 will probably have to wait at least a couple more weeks unless they play 10/19/74 a week early (10/19 has only been played once as an A, in 2008, though it was a B in 2019.)

Since 1974, 1976 & 1978 are due, I'll go with: 10/14/23 - October 14, 1978 - There has not been a 1978 A show since Spring. 10/21/23 - October 23, 1976 - It was last an A show in 2010. 10/28/23 - October 26, 1974 - The only time show aired was 2017.
