Who's likely to air 8/4/79 this weekend? I would start with the usual suspects mentioned when this same question was asked two weeks ago for 1978 and last week for 1977: WPAC, WVWP (Sunday) WQMV, Hoggy, and KLDZ. Also keep an eye on KKLZ when they announce tomorrow.

It looks like WPAC is the only station that will air the 4-hour version of 8/4/79.

It looks like WPAC is the only station that will air the 4-hour version of 8/4/79. I'll have to make it a point to listen to the first hour on their on-demand player today then. I wonder how many stations will play the three-hour version?

As AT40: The 80's 8/11/1973 is playing on WXXM Rewind 92.1 FM Madison, Wisconsin this Saturday morning, this month - August 2021 - will mark 1 year since WXXM Rewind 92.1 FM picked up AT40: The 70's (and AT40: The 80's) a few months after WMGN Magic 98 FM Madison, Wisconsin dropped the AT40 70's/80's shows.

KPRW playing 08-04-1979 at 8 AM (EST), 3 Hour version. Darn, I was too busy listening to the 1977 show before it disappeared from the WPAC player. Will the three-hour version of the 1979 show be on the player for the next week?

More on AT40: The 70's 8/11/1973: Did you notice Casey did a clarification that Bing Crosby, who had more records in the top 10 than anyone else, originally in an early 1973 AT40 show Casey said it was 57 but said Bing had actually 63. (And you thought the real artist could have been another artist - maybe likely Elvis Presley?)

Will the three-hour version of the 1979 show be on the player for the next week? Here it is, the complete 4 hours program, You have less than 24 hours to download it. This time the program ended before the top of the hour, so no cut-offs. ice42.securenetsystems.net/media/WPAC/ondemand/Mornings.m4a

^Yeah, I know that - I'm actually listening to Hour 1 right now. I just want to know what show is going to be on the player during the week, so I'll know if I'd have to catch the last three hours sometime today (since I have to work this afternoon), or if I can wait and listen to the rest sometime over the next week.

And I woke up at 6 AM to hear the first hour of 1979 from WPAC, then went back to sleep after 7 figuring I could hear the rest later. This should eliminate the need for further searching today (and only today), so thank you.

I'd long forgotten that the Intruders' "...Mama" dropped out and then came back. I spent years trying to figure out what a "new pashoo" was.

Listening to 8-11-73 on KOKZ. They skipped OE hr 2 "That Lady Pt.1" by The Isley Bros. It might have to do with a 29 minute segment of AT40 from #24-#17. That must be the longest segment between commercials that I can remember from Premiere.

I'd long forgotten that the Intruders' "...Mama" dropped out and then came back. I spent years trying to figure out what a "new pashoo" was. Man, I had to look it up! "New pair of shoes", of course. (reminds me of that other well-known misheard lyric, "I got shoes, they're made of plywood, and I'm losin' the soles")
