I'm probably gonna get a lot of disagreement on one of my two choices but it's only my opinion. For the 70's,it's hands down "Send In The Clowns" by Judy Collins. Nothing against Judy,I like some of her stuff but this song will make me turn it down or off every time. For the 60's it's by far "Walk Away Renee" by the Left Banke. The instruments are way too loud, you can't hear clearly any of the lyric and it annoys me to no end. After hearing the song,Renee did not walk away, she RAN away as fast as she could while trying to hold her hands against her ears.

I agree with you on "Send In The Clowns" but something my mother did always makes me laugh when I hear it. My grandmother had a friend, an older woman who would use way too much makeup, eye liner, lipstick, etc, so much that she looked like a clown. Whenever my mother would see her, she would hum that song and my grandmother finally figured out what my mom was doing and would get really mad at her after the friend had left (the friend never did notice what my mom was doing)

80´s Anything by Bruce The Boss. Money for nothing - Dire Straits. I really hate those guys. Ha! You and I have a lot in common! I wonder how acts like these ever got recording contracts. They are both awful. All Springsteen does is moan, and the guys from Dire Straits can't even sing on key. When anything from these guys was played, I changed the station immediately.

I like So Far Away by Dire Straits. The music parts of Sultains Of Swing are good too.

If I were forced to listen to all the top 10 hits of the 90s and 2000s on the HOT 100, I betcha there would be more annoying songs from any one of those years than the 60s, 70s and 80s combined!
