Glad you like it. Are you guessing next week? Thats already listed at the end of the show, as I do each week. (Next week: 7-23-66)
But for the following week I'll give a hint: There's a remake in the countdown of a song we just played the original of, on another countdown, not that long ago....

Also, let me know what you think of the new features! One new one this week and one new one will debut on next weeks show!

new features ? you mean an older hit from the same artist currently on the countdown ? it's fine , but i prefer the bonus tracks bubbling under the Top 40 and also stop to recap last week's top 3 making these songs played twice on the show or , instead , play a quick excerpt of these 3 songs. Your voice is now on the same level as the songs played , great. maybe some jingles to bring more fun on the show ?
Good show anyway , with the advantage to have the real Top 40 of the week ( you're the only one to do that for the 60's shows ).
Thanks again

The top 3 from the previous week was only included to fill more time. This weeks show ran awful short.
The new feature was #1 archive of the song at #1 ten years prior. I started the older song or later song thing a few weeks ago. I also started the bubbling under the hot 100 feature. I'll pick somthing that is below #100 for that week, either a hit that will soon be on the charts or something that didn't make the hot 100 at all. This week was You Were On My Mind by We Five.
SNEAK PEEK: Next week is one that didn't make the hot 100 at all.

And here we go! 7-23-66! We have alot of great bonus tracks this week... The original Mono Mix of Bus Stop by The Hollies is played as a bonus track... Another bonus track is likely to drive people crazy and a new feature debuts: The top 5 albums of the week from 7-23-66 (We also play an album cut from the #1 album) 7-23-66: www.megaupload.com/?d=IN9QGVMMCue Sheet: www.megaupload.com/?d=IN9QGVMMENJOY! Now, next week is announced at the end of the show... BUT, I will give a clue as to the show for 2 weeks from now: There's 3 songs that stalled at #2 in the top 40. 2 of those artists never got a #1 hit and NEITHER of those two is CCR!

Did anybody else have trouble downloading the 7-23-66 show? I have tried four times now and it just hangs about a minute or two into the download.

I downloaded the show on Monday night and had no problem. And since I'm not a member of Megaupload, I had to use the Regular Download feature.

I have been using the regular download too and still no luck. I have tried it on two different computers and three different web browsers.

Once in a while if you're not a member of the site, it lags because members are all downloading things. I'm sorry you're having such a problem with it!
