I have been hosting my own 60's countdown show for the last few months and wanted to put it out there for free so people could check it out and give feedback. It is modeled after AT40 and even uses some jingles and themes. I do this for fun and not to make money and obviously if I got on a radio station with this, I know I'd have to change things... 4-4-64 (Beatles hold on top 5) www.megaupload.com/?d=K4H55IRX3-6-65 (One of the earlier rough ones) www.megaupload.com/?d=JAKWD93O3 more will be up tomorrow and I'll post the link to them as well. It'll include 3-18-67, 3-26-66 & 4-13-68. All I ask in return is for feedback. I am curious as to thoughts good and bad. So far I know a few of you have privately listened to these shows and loved them. I'd like more feedback. Thanks!

I happen to be one of those private listeners. He does a great job on all counts....production, stories, facts and figures. If you like the 60s then this is something to check out. Or if you just like countdowns, tune in.

Someone alerted me (paying attention apparently) that I hadn't uploaded this show. At the end of the previous weeks show I advertised that it would be up the following week. SO, here is 3-15-69: www.megaupload.com/?d=TCQR6TZO

Wow, did anyone notice that I didn't edit 2 mistakes out? 17 people had downloaded it by the time I caught it. Guess I shouldn't edit when I'm tired! A new copy will be up in the AM.

OK, here it is: 5-3-69. There's some amazing chart movement, some crazy high debuts, even the songs that dropped fell from high up off the hot 100. Great extras and it is edited a bit to fit into the 2 hr 40 min time limit. www.megaupload.com/?d=9BU6S9PVENJOY!

Are you planning to do any 50s Countdowns? I hope you will!! If not, do you know of any sources other than Time Warp and Ultimate Oldies who do play 40s or 50s Countdowns--my parents and grandparents love that sort of music.
