WHNN apparently also has a Sunday night airing of AT40 at 8:00 eastern, according to their website. The DJ also just promo'd it.
EDIT: Their playing 1978, 4 hour version.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday 8 am - 11 am WHNN - 96 - All Classics All The Time - Saginaw MI 96.1 FM player.streamtheworld.com/_players/citadel/?sid=3025Plays Optional Extras not on a consistent basis [glow=red,2,300]Plays AT 40 - 70s - 4 Hour Edition[/glow] UPDATE August 11 - According to poster billyonaire: I checked my recording of their 4 hour show from last Sunday and discovered that the show was complete with all 4 extras. However, the commercial breaks are quite long, so the show ran for 4 hours and 20 minutes or so. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anyone who's a fan of their airing...tune in to them right now. They're airing the show again! I'm inclined to believe this is a regular thing for them. So yes, they air the show from 8-11 twice on Sundays, both AM and PM. EDIT: Thanks at40freak for the confirmation that it is a regular thing for them now. ;D That said...both airings will likely be the same. I caught the beginning this morning on my way to work...it was 1978 in the morning, as it is right now.

KTHI has not been playing the show tonight, so maybe they have moved it to earlier only?

Interesting that Watkins Glen, NY is mentioned in this weekend's show for 9/22/73. Pizzzzza, note: according to their website, WGMM, 98.7, Corning, NY (which covers Watkins Glen with a weak signal) carries AT40 The 70s and 80s. Website address is www.987gemfm.com. The site says the 70s airs Saturdays from 11AM to 7PM, ET and Sundays from 4PM to 7PM. The 80s version runs Sundays from 7PM to 11PM. These seem like odd program lengths, but the website has listed these times for the past two years. Unfortunately there is no stream to confirm these airings. Anyone in that area that can give Pizzzzza a 'yell?' Any new news or confirmation on this particular station? I will add it, assuming all the info is correct - but it's hard to confirm without an actual listener of the station, or a streaming link.

Smooth 70s in the UK, on every occasion I've listened to them, and that's been at least three or four times, DO play the optional extras (I don't see that listed for any of their airings), besides filling in the US commercial breaks with their own extras from the applicable year. Thanks for the update - I'll make a notation.

I've been checking out XHPRS (The Walrus) from the San Diego area again, and they appear to have dropped the extras, and their local announcer (a lit-tle Charlie Tuna-esque, IMO) is introducing each hour with the chart date instead of Larry!Honestly, I've wondered what the affiliates think of Mr Morgan! Dale - can you double-check this before I make the change, since it's been a few weeks since you posted this message - thanks!

Shameless bump from page 2... I'll try and update the list sometime this weekend. Bump away. I finally had to bookmark it (in my browser - proboards bookmarking is not so great) as noted in some thread or other KLFM played 3 hours of a 4 hour countdown from 1978, so their "plays 4 hours when available" may need to be changed - at least to "most of the time" Seriously, Casey just said "this is the third hour of our new four hour format" - just so no one was confused, except for those of us who have only heard one hour of it so far. Thanks for the update on KLFM - I will make a notation.

Confirming that KTHI is playing the full 40 right now for 1978. So can anyone confirm the actual start time now for this station? (of the regular 3 hour show, not the 4 hour) Have they moved the start time from Sunday night to Sunday morning?
