Pizzzzza, did I tell you about WQOL in Florida? They dropped the second two extras from the 4hr show from '78, and they are very booked-up during the local breaks, in part with company features about the making of some or another big hit of the rock era. If the '71 show I got from them exhibits the same pattern, I'd suggest we add 'not on a consistent basis' to their listing, too.
UPDATE: They dropped the original Casey extra "Don't Be Cruel" (major irony there)
UPDATE 2: "Everybody's Everything" got the Ziggy too.

Smooth 70s in the UK, on every occasion I've listened to them, and that's been at least three or four times, DO play the optional extras (I don't see that listed for any of their airings), besides filling in the US commercial breaks with their own extras from the applicable year. Thanks for the update - I'll make a notation. Yeah Smooth 70s do play all the extras as well their own filler songs....except for the 4 hour 1978/1979 shows that they edit down to 3 hours.

Confirming that KTHI is playing the full 40 right now for 1978. So can anyone confirm the actual start time now for this station? (of the regular 3 hour show, not the 4 hour) Have they moved the start time from Sunday night to Sunday morning? I cannot confirm having heard, but their website says... hold on... on their homepage www.khits.fm/and then also on this page 921khits.com/personalities/casey-kasemit says On-Air Schedule Sunday 09:00am - 12:00pm American Top 40: The 70's but, no, I've usually managed to find it elsewhere by Sunday night - oh wait, it's morning... so I've not actually heard it. I got it from darnall42

I have to help the folks with a roast this Sunday, so I don't know if I'll be able to do it then.

WJER does it again, starts at #32, with a truncated 3-hour show just like they did with September 15th, 1979 last month, so "Plays AT 40 - 70s - 4 Hour Edition" should now be taken off their entry over at "AT 40 - 70s - Stations List" thread herein this forum!

On October 20th, 2012 CKUL played the full four hour version of the October 20th, 1979 chart. CKUL is not listed as a station that plays the 4 hour edition of late 1978 and 1979 shows.

Think it's the first time they have actually played a full 4 hour 70s show-we will have to wait for the next 4 hour 78 or 79 chart to see if it's a regular player of 4 hour 70s shows
