Tuesday (Commences Sunday, January 22nd (2012) 1 pm - 4 pm EST (REPEAT broadcast) (Local Perth Time - Wednesday from 2 am - 5 am) Show FIRST AIRS Sunday 3 am - 6 am EST (Local Perth Time - Sunday from 4 pm - 7 pm) 6iX - Forever Classic - 1080 AM - 105.7 FM - Perth AUSTRALIA www.6ix.com.au/streaming/stream.htm(not a bad one either! 160 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo) Optional Extras: Not sure on it but as 6iX is one of 2CA Canberra's network of stations who also carry AT40 The 70's, they don't play them, so probably safe to assume 6iX won't either. All times are AWST (Australian Western Standard Time), which is GMT + 8 hours. Also, Western Australia does not have Daylight Saving. --------------------- Perth started at 2pm EDT, same time as last week. Ok - I've read yours and sejets comments on this station - so is the "new" correct starting time 2 pm or 3 pm? I'm corn-fused! LOL Thanks for all your help guys!

WVMA's flip to top 40 makes plenty of sense; they were getting clobbered in the market by another Classic Hits station, and the top 40 format has enjoyed a huge resurgence in the past 3 years since CBS launched 97.1 AMP Radio (KAMP-FM) to take on format behemoth KIIS-FM here in LA, with spectacular results. Toss in newly-launched top 40 stations in SF & NYC for starters, as well as a dozen or so other markets, and the format is resurging just like it did in the early 1980s with KIIS & Rick Dees, as well as Z100/NYC behind Scott Shannon, who'd come up from Tampa a year earlier. So gang - do I 'axe" WVMA from our 70s station list?

Yes, Smooth 70´s is repeating last weekend show, I hope tomorrow re run they will play the right show.
I have found Smooth 70´s is not a station you can trust 100%, sometimes they make mistakes with the segments . That has happened at least twice , thou it is always a chance they can solve that in the second run, on Sundays.

Yeah, I was up early to hear the '70s edition on Smooth 70s radio primarily for the 1971 original extras. I like their presentation when there are no programming errors. The 1978 show meant I could go back to bed to catch up on some sleep lol.
Now I'm trying WJGH for the first time, since they play the optional extras according to the list.

KOLW hs apparently dropped the show altogether; there's no mention of it on their website.

Would those of you familiar with 2CA (Sydney) and 6ix (Perth) please check the times of those stations for me (Sejet, Frankster, Lasvegaskid and others).
I think I have the correct time for the REPEAT broadcast (Tuesday/Wednesday), but I need to confirm the original broadcast times (Sunday).
Thanks everyone!

This is for anyone who listens to AT40: The 70s on 107.3 FM in Jacksonville, FL. I was fumbling around another stations website up there that I like to shake my head at and make fun of and I saw some information you may want to take notice of. That station became a Jack-FM today. I don't know what this means for the future of your AT40 the 70s airings. Just thought you'd like to know in case you want to find another stream now just in case. www.991qik.com/cc-common/news/sections/newsarticle.html?feed=417198&article=10060179

WJGH in Jacksonville FL has had a format change. They are now a "Jack Radio" station. They are not playing AT40 the '70's at 6:00 a.m. (EST) on Saturday. Perhaps they are still airing the show at another time but they're new website has not been launched.
