CKOC is a week behind for some reason; they're airing the 3-25-78 countdown right now.

I don't think they are playing the one in Denver at 9pm ET on Sundays anymore.

I came across two more stations that carry AT 40 - 70 on Sundays that are not listed here but can only confirm the broadcast time for one of the stations. I found both of these broadcasts with the tune in radio app. Confirm KMCH - Mix 94.7 northeast Iowa's best mix - 94.7 out of Manchester, IA broadcasts AT 40 - 70 from 2P - 5P ET. The one I'm not sure about the actual broadcast time is WWIS 1260 AM which tune in radio listed as being out of La Crosse, WI which I thought was strange because La Crosse already had an AT 40 - 70 affiliate on another station but later came to find the station is actually out of Black River Falls, WI which is about 50 miles from La Crosse. The tune in radio app listed the show as running from 1P-4P CT/2P-5P ET but when I tuned in a little after 2P ET the show was on #4 and ended at 230P ET. I checked the WWIS website and found a program page which also listed AT 40 - 70 as running from 1P-4P CT/2P-5P ET. Based on the end time it would seem the show started at 1030A CT/1130A ET but I only listed to last 30 mins so I don't know when it started. Even if it did start at 1130 it could have started 30 minutes late or early from a scheduled 11 or 12P start. Maybe someone can do a follow up? Also found some interesting information on their website about airing AT 40 - 80 on Friday afternoons but for more details on that go to the 80s stations thread.

I don't think they are playing the one in Denver at 9pm ET on Sundays anymore. As this is now the third week in a row that AT40 hasn't been played, I think we can safely say that KXKL is no longer running the show.

WUPE city of license is North Adams (FM)/Pittsfield (AM).
(As a kid I went on a camping trip with my family which included that area; Mount Greylock, the highest peak in Massachusetts, is there.)
Only the FM carries all of the Sunday night repeat; AM is a daytime-only and depending on the time of year, would have to sign off in mid-show or not carry it at all. It can of course also be heard in full on the webstream.
I'm only able usually to listen to most of the second two hours, but from what I can tell, they carry 2 of the 3 optional extras (not the 3rd).

Does anyone know if KJR plays optional extras? They seem to have a nice streaming quality. I am a big fan of KJR in terms of audio (one of the better quality streams) and how well they do commercial breaks, etc. They do a real nice job with the shows. However...they unfortunately don't play any of the optional extras.

I think a lot of it is personal preference, but there are stations there that are obviously better based on their kbps rate. For AT 40 - 80s - I think everyone pretty much agrees that WQSR (Jack FM) out of Baltimore is one of the better ones to listen to. There are several good AT 40 - 70s - stations out there - I know that this past weekend, KOLA sounded pretty decent - and KFRC - San Francisco - seems to have a pretty decent stream (for me anyway) I agee that KFRC has a great stream for the 70's show. But the station has a couple of issues that are irritating. The player "falls asleep" after about an hour and stops playback. It says if you want to keep listening, hit the play button. It doesn't continue where it left off. Also, they are known to mess up the timing of commercials and come back from the break with the program "in progress". Doesn't happen every break, but I don't believe I have ever listened to a complete program where they haven't messed this up at least one time during the program. I have noticed that any of the stations that use the radio.com player have that same time-out deal (very similar to SXM's player), where you need to toggle the volume or do a quick stop-play during a commercial break to reset the timer to keep the steam from quitting in the middle of the show. It appears to be a feature (or drawback may be more accurate) of the radio.com player, and it seems like the time-out length varies depending on the station (some set it for 3 hours, some for an hour and 20 minutes, etc.). Others that use the radio.com player besides KFRC are WODS-Boston, WOGL-Philly, and KLUV-Dallas to name a few...all have pretty good quality audio streams, but all will time-out if you don't reset at some point during the show.

The optional extras is really difficult to keep up with - so inconsistent - it's almost not worth the effort, but I try to keep it up to date for those who like to listen to them during AT 40,

Does anyone know if KJR plays optional extras? They seem to have a nice streaming quality. The great thing about KJR is that they always play Shuckatoom in its entirety at the end of the shows from 76-79.
