Listening to the 70´s show right now on WBBG. They even step on own AT40 promos with station commercials. And the weather man interrupted Casey at the end of 1st hour.
Well, overall, it is not bad at all. But the Premiere optional extras are so missed.

Radio has gone straight to hell. DJ's playing records or CD's is the way to go. Thoe computers cannot be trusted to do the job meant for a human. PERIOD!

First of all--thanks to all those that have put this list (and the one for the 80's shows) together--it is super helpful. Second, does anyone have a list of stations in order of audio/streaming quality, or maybe even what are considered to be the 5-10 best stations in terms of quality? Just curious--I find myself going through the stations on this list to determine who has the best signal, but thought someone might have already done that. Of the stations I have listened to, KLOU, KJR, and WODS seem to have some of the best quality streams. KKLZ is pretty good too I think. KQQL's stream is decent, but sounds to be a cut below the others in quality (though I get them here in town, so I can listen to them off air too). I think a lot of it is personal preference, but there are stations there that are obviously better based on their kbps rate. For AT 40 - 80s - I think everyone pretty much agrees that WQSR (Jack FM) out of Baltimore is one of the better ones to listen to. There are several good AT 40 - 70s - stations out there - I know that this past weekend, KOLA sounded pretty decent - and KFRC - San Francisco - seems to have a pretty decent stream (for me anyway) I agee that KFRC has a great stream for the 70's show. But the station has a couple of issues that are irritating. The player "falls asleep" after about an hour and stops playback. It says if you want to keep listening, hit the play button. It doesn't continue where it left off. Also, they are known to mess up the timing of commercials and come back from the break with the program "in progress". Doesn't happen every break, but I don't believe I have ever listened to a complete program where they haven't messed this up at least one time during the program.

Solid Gold , New Zealand, plays The 70´s at 23.00 CET, which is 17.00 EST (5 pm) on Saturdays and they have axed the playing of the Premiere optional extras. In fact, they axed all the references to Premiere and the have an own radio guy announcer at the top of the hour segment. Dont know what will happen with the credits at the end, I will update that. The Sunday broadcasting should remain the same. They have changed time today.

Regarding this fairly new entry: Saturday 11 pm - 2 am (Sunday morning) KMXZ - MIXfm - Tucson's Soft Rock - Tucson AZ 94.9 FM players.jbgmedia.com/KMXZ/player.htmlI listened at 11:50 pm Sat night and they played 2 non-AT40 songs. At midnight, they started playing commercials, and so far have been playing 35 minutes of constant commercials with no music or programming. I've never listened to a 35-minute commercial break IN MY LIFE and I have to quit now. My guess this is a 60-minute commercial break, if not 3 hours. Please remove this entry from the list (and scold KMXZ for playing commercials for this long!!)

I'm not sure what to do about this particular station - according to atruefan, the show was played last week at 11 pm EST.

Was listening to KKLZ this morning and they did the EXACT same thing - came back into the intro to "Vincent" while it was in progress.

Does anyone know if KJR plays optional extras?
They seem to have a nice streaming quality.

No idea, but what I have checked is that stations do whatever they want every week. Stations which run the extras some weeks ago, now they have axed them ( like Solid Gold), or even they dont play all the extras, like KEGK-FM which has played the 1st extra, but not the second.
I have decided that the extras are , like its name say, extra material that contaminate the original material and you can go crazy with them, trying 5 or more streams in the weekend... So, finally, IMO, who cares about the extras?

By the way, jcaragon, I don't think anyone answered your question about Vincent (van Gogh). Casey said he is French and he is correct.

Casey has returned to the Orlando, FL airwaves after almost a six month hiatus! WOCL/Orlando, "105.9 Sunny FM" added the show this week. AT40: The 70s airs Sunday mornings from 6am-9am Eastern time. I discovered this on my way into work this morning, and this is indeed the first week they have aired the show. Although it's *very* early, it's still nice that Casey is back in Orlando. The website for streaming is 1059sunnyfm.com Unfortunately they do not air the optional extras.
This isn't the first time AT40: The 70's has aired in Orlando. Longtime AT10 affiliate WMGF began airing the 70s shows the weekend of July 11, 2009 right after AT10 ended. However, by the end of August 2009, they had replaced it with the 80s show, which aired until early November of 2010 when the station dropped all of their syndicated shows.
