If you want to listen to 70s and 80s back to back on WCFR, be prepared to start listening as early as a half hour before noon. I tuned in at 11:52 and they were already at the #32 song. That's unfortunate - I don't know why stations start the show early, unless they changed the start time for the 70s show. I just tuned in at 2:30 pm, and they had started the top 3 recap for the 80s show. ON a side note - I'm listening on WinAmp - showing a 128-131 kbps consistently, so the sound quality is pretty decent.

Sometimes it starts a half hour early, sometimes a quarter hour early, or at noon. Maybe they broadcast a sporting event when they start early.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I need help with these particular stations - In other words, do they still run AT 40 - 70s or 80s? 92.7 WHVE - The Wave - Russell Springs KY - Saturday 9 am 94.9 KMXZ - Mixfm - Tucson AZ - Saturday 11 PM ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I don't have great news for you...Casey's not listed on WHVE's on-air schedule, which is not a good sign. (Although...with the sole exception of a "Solid Gold" programming block on Saturday mornings, this station seems to not feature any syndicated programming at all; odd.) As for KMXZ, they don't have an on-air schedule listed, but they do have a "Meet the Staff" page with all the on-air times included. Delilah is listed, John Tesh is listed, Casey is... ...not.

Yea - I kind of 'figured' that was the case - I really appreciate the confirmation. Funny thing - I used to listen to WHVE ALL the time - they use to run AT 40 - 70s (as well as Casey's Top 20) - they had a decent sounding online stream as well - I don't know what happened to them, but....oh well. I'll delete that note from the stations list. Thanks again!

First of all--thanks to all those that have put this list (and the one for the 80's shows) together--it is super helpful.
Second, does anyone have a list of stations in order of audio/streaming quality, or maybe even what are considered to be the 5-10 best stations in terms of quality? Just curious--I find myself going through the stations on this list to determine who has the best signal, but thought someone might have already done that. Of the stations I have listened to, KLOU, KJR, and WODS seem to have some of the best quality streams. KKLZ is pretty good too I think. KQQL's stream is decent, but sounds to be a cut below the others in quality (though I get them here in town, so I can listen to them off air too).

I think a lot of it is personal preference, but there are stations there that are obviously better based on their kbps rate. For AT 40 - 80s - I think everyone pretty much agrees that WQSR (Jack FM) out of Baltimore is one of the better ones to listen to. There are several good AT 40 - 70s - stations out there - I know that this past weekend, KOLA sounded pretty decent - and KFRC - San Francisco - seems to have a pretty decent stream (for me anyway)

I agree with this one. I listened to them for the first time two weeks ago tonight when WBBG messed up the 1979 show and I loved the sound quality of the stream. I'll definitely listen to them again in the future.

Sunday 4pm - 7pm KKFG - Kool 104.5 - Four Corners Greatest Hits - Farmington, New Mexico 104.5 FM NO INTERNET STREAM I was in the area yesterday and tuned in. Even through the station website says 4pm EDT, the show actually started at noon and was not replayed later. They played the optional extras. Ok - thanks for the update - was it noon LOCAL time or EST? Thanks!

Crazy--WBBG managed last night to start the first hour no less than 3 times during their broadcast, with the third time having the Atl Rhythm Section at #40 and Lou Rawls at #27 playing simultaneously at one point. Then, after #23, there was dead silence for 45 minutes before the show resumed at #22. I finally shut it off after another skip between #10 and #9, but if they played the entire show, my guess is that it would have gotten done around midnight ET. What a train wreck...

That's pretty bad - I 'm surprised they messed that much! Someone had mentioned on here somewhere that their stream was 'cleaned up'.

That is so bad, because I have thougth that could be the last opportunity of listening to the show in a weekday if you have the bad luck of missing the show in the weekend.
Right now its stream is working and I am not "there". IMO , you cannot trust on that much automation in radio.
