This Rick Dees radio station retros has been repeating same shows from past months instead of just year to year repeat as it should've. Why are they doing this? No idea, but it almost seems like they are starting to phase out of radio stations carrying the show. There may come a time soon when we will need the app to hear these retro countdowns.

In the 1995 show, Rick seemed to have forgotten that Men Without Hats had a hit with "Pop Goes The World" in 1988. Was this one of his "The Incredible Career Of..." segments?

KKMK is playing 02/02/2002 this evening. The sure shot is "No More Drama" by Mary J Blige. This is the 4th time this show has aired in retro-Dees, the most recent being a little over 2 months ago.

In the 1996 show, Rick plays a clip of Mike Wallace on 60 minutes interviewing a woman (or maybe she was a guest), who started laughing while she was reading a letter. Anyone know the context around this? Thanks

A friend of mine keeps track of Lite Dees top 20, does anyone happen to listen to Rick Dees Top 20 yesterday?

The “bonus hour” is from October 10, 2009 and it’s the Hot AC version.

Did Rick really say that "Vogue" was the #1 song "4 years ago" in 1996? What timeline is he living in?

The “bonus hour” is from October 10, 2009 and it’s the Hot AC version. I appreciate you spending the three hours to listen to 2001 and posting about the 2009 Hot AC Bonus Hour - I know what I'll be listening to for six hours today at home! Also, if you enjoy 1989, the Bonus Hour is Memorial Day 1989 (after the Paula Abdul April 1989 show) and they also accidentally sprinkle in a couple of segments of October 1989 along the way. I spent six hours yesterday and got through the whole thing without the app crashing!

Loved the 2001 show, which really brought back a lot of memories. My favorites were One More Time, Southside, Best I Ever Had and Hanging By A Moment.

Speaking of "bonus hours", last week's D2K was from October 31, 2015, the most recent airdate of any show replayed on the Rick Dees app (excluding of course current weekly countdowns played in real time.)

KZOY has flipped their weekend schedule. Instead of running Rick Dees at 7am EDT on Saturday & Sunday, they are now at 7pm EDT. The 80s will start at 7pm Saturday and the 90s will start at 7pm on Sunday.

I’m glad they held off posting the new shows yet. Gave me a chance to hear Paula and the 1989 countdown. And now later on I can hear that same year with the VJs at MTV on Sirius XM.

They've changed one of them by now: D2K is April 17, 2004.

They've changed one of them by now: D2K is April 17, 2004. And just as we have seen an implosion of 1989 shows on the 80s shows, we are seeing several 2004 shows so far this year.
