I'm surprised nobody recognizes this except me: but last weekend 2006 show, the hour2segment4 is missing, it was replaced by Dees sayings commentary of #31-#21 without playing music songs, so that means opt xtra #2 and #21 songs are missing.
Another error is top 10 is not from Mar 11, 2006, it's only from Mar 18, 2006. Mar 11, 2006 would be new #1: Ne-Yo - So Sick. Mary J Blige - Be Without You is heard twice.
They never bothered to fix it..

They never bothered to fix it.. Despite those glitches, at least this week I was able to listen to the full 80s, 90s, and D2K shows straight through using the iPhone app without trouble. Recently most weeks at least one and often more of the retro shows have been plagued with the app getting stuck on or after the Zips car wash commercials, requiring me to skip over some segments to get to the end--and sometimes running out of skips before I got there.

The 1991 show fittingly had “State of the World” by Janet Jackson in the top 5. Perfect song to describe the situation of the world right now. Listen to the lyrics when you can. Everyone stay healthy and safe!

I enjoyed the 1991 show, which I hadn't heard since it first aired. My favorites: "I've Been Thinking About You," "How To Dance," "Sadeness, Part 1," "Rescue Me," "Cry For Help," and "My Side of the Bed." Whitney Houston and Robert Palmer are the only ones I remember hearing who've since died. Rick mentioned that Freddy Curci was going to be in a movie about an opera singer turned rock star, but I did some research and it doesn't look like Freddy's acting career ever got started.

I definitely agree! Not only the great mix of music, but songs relevant to our times: "Show Me the Way", "Cry For Help", "Mercy, Mercy Me," "This House," and of course "State of the World." In addition to Whitney and Robert, Rest in Peace to Marie Frederickson, John Panozzo and David Cole (key members of Roxette, Styx, and C&C respectively.)

Weird Al also co-hosted this show. I have this one in my collection. He even says, "The hits wait for no man, or woman, or even Rick Dees, so let's carry on..." 😅 What's up with all the random shows of late? 🤔
