Holy s***, so it’s true. I can’t believe my eyes right now. Oh my god, I’m so happy right now. It’s about time we got a 1990 show. Oh my god, I’m freaking out right now. I thought it would never happen. I can’t even remember now it’s been so long, the last time we got a 1990 show that wasn’t a yearly repeat. Actually, I can. I believe it was a March (can’t remember the date) show that last aired in 2014. mitchm, I hope KZOY gets their act together and airs the correct show tomorrow. How many songs did KZOY play from 1990 this morning? Just one section or was it more than that?

I really hope we get different year-end shows other than 1985, 1992, and 2008. Wouldn't it be great to get 3 new ones?

Shoot, I was going to listen to the 1990 broadcast on WVLF this afternoon, but they played only the first 2 minutes or so of the show and then cut it off for a basketball game. Didn't even get to the sure shot. I guess I will listen to KZOY tomorrow morning.

Loved the 1990 show, especially since I missed it the first time around. I believe Casey had a special that same week, so the following week, I had to guess from what positions the droppers fell off the chart.

KZOY has jumbled sections again this morning - after playing #29 from the 1990 show they jumped to 1995 and played Meat Loaf's "I'd Lie for You (and that's the truth)" and Toad the Wet Sprocket's "Good Intentions".

Wtf KZOY just switched from 1987 to 1990. I kid you not. One minute we hear “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life” and then Rick announces “Black Cat” by Janet Jackson. Very strange. Is it fair to assume we’re finally getting a 1990 show this weekend? Could it be? Please be true. I've Had the Time of My Life was actually part of the 1990 show. It was a flashback song from 3 years earlier. Did you start listening to the show on KZOY from that segment? If so, it's possible the whole show was 1990 and they are switching to the 90s show for that time slot.

When I posted that I was listening to the 1987 show and then it just switched to 1990. So I was like WTF is this? It was only one segment and then it switched back. Thanks . I really enjoyed the 1990 show. It’s been so long, too long since we’ve had a 1990 show. Loved hearing “Justify My Love” and songs I haven’t heard in ages (“Can’t Stop”,”Hippiechick” etc..). The woman answering the phones was annoying though and the comedy segments were cringeworthy (as usual) but other than that great show. My complaint with the 1987 show is a minor annoyance but I hated the remixed versions of songs like Breakout. 1987 is great but when are we going to get a 1989 show already?

Just listened to the 1990 show for a second time. I absolutely loved this show and it was cool and funny getting to hear Rodney Dangerfield in the studio with Rick. Lots of songs on here that many people probably haven't heard in years if not decades.

Lots of songs on here that many people probably haven't heard in years if not decades. Rodney actually charted a record in 1983 with a song called "Rappin' Rodney", some of which was heard on here. Rick said the barking dog ("Houndini") liked the record, and Rodney responded, "So what? He also liked Disco Duck". A lot of songs in here that I haven't heard in a long time; I was in high school in 1990 and so enjoyed hearing many of them more for the memories than musical quality. You know it was an odd time in music when Vanilla Ice had one of the relatively few songs in the show still widely remembered or replayed today.

not sure if anyone noticed, but the apps just now updated earlier than expected: here's what it says Dec 7, 1985 Dec 4, 1994 Dec 8, 2001
I didn't listen to it, only for what it says on caption.. if anyone can listen to those, I will listen to those later on. Sometimes the caption dates could possibly be wrong..

Fine time to do it early... I just hope they all work this week; last week's 1987 show at least on my phone kept getting stuck after every segment. I eventually gave up on it, as we get the same year from Casey this coming weekend.

KZOY is playing 12/07/85 this morning. The sureshot is "When the Going Gets Tough" by Billy Ocean. Rick called it the 2nd weekend in December, but it isn't the countdown for 12/14/85 which has "Living in America" by James Brown as the sureshot.
