Aaaarrrrghh My DirecTV box just reset during the recording. When do they replay the shows on 8? I was really hoping to listen to this one on a plane Thursday morning. This week's show usually doesn't replay until the following Sunday night at 9 pm ET...

This corresponds well to the show on terrestrial radio, since this is a week after the show being played this week (3/26). In addition to that, this show was also featured on terrestrial radio last year.

SXM is playing the same countdown (4/2/83) tonight that they played earlier today.
Each week is a total guess as to whether they're going to play the previous week's show (which they had been doing), or the same day's broadcast.

Oh blah; I just can't win with this one. I was looking forward to recording the 1986 show from last week tonight, but they aren't playing it. And now I seem to have missed both airings of the 1983 show today (plus, I thought it was 9 eastern, not 8).

This corresponds well to the show on terrestrial radio, since this is a week after the show being played this week (3/26). In addition to that, this show was also featured on terrestrial radio last year. More than well; the top 11 songs on the 3/26 and 4/2/83 charts were exactly the same. I've noticed some interesting differences in how they end the AT40 shows on different channels. The 70s station typically cuts off the closing theme song shortly after it starts, but the 80s one lets it play through--to the point that in this week's 1983 show, they even included the original sponsor credits. Activision and Zena jeans, anyone?

SXM 70s is playing 4/8/1978 today...which, by the way, was played last week on terrestrial stations.

That's correct-I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll finally hear a 1979 countdown next weekend.

80's on 8 is playing 04/11/81 this week. Yet another repeat of last year. I think I am ready to give up on XM. With the edits and the consistent repeats, is it really worth paying money for this product any longer?

Did I miss something, or did XM-8 just skip #28 in today's countdown? They played #29 (It's a Love Thing by Whispers), then the LDD (Freebird), then they played #27 (Sweetheart by Frankie & the Knockouts).
Very frustrating . . .
